Thank you for posting my dream truck it’s so hard to find the power wagon in action… hope to see you take it to the west coast where it’s more open and scenic

Thanks for watching. Having a great time taking the Beast offroad. I might get out there eventually. Still building it out and getting my camp gear together. Have some WKO frame mounted rock sliders coming in a few weeks. Looking at a nice Dethloff transmission skid plate to add as well.

I've ran Hurricane Creek a couple times in my JLU. I was wondering how a full sized rig would handle it. That rock obstacle at 6:20 doesn't look like much on video but it's way more intimidating in person, especially with that dropoff on the right. I've been wanting to go back now that I've regeared and swapped my spacer lift for a true suspension lift. That GX needs a high clearance bumper. Otherwise it's a truly capable rig.

Thanks for watching. I think I would also do just as well climbing more to the driver side on that obstacle. After running some trails at Windrock, Hurricane Creek is like the Green easy trails at Windrock. I will have some videos of that Winrock adventure out soon.

@@redbeastadventures I've been wanting to go to windrock forever. Just don't have anyone to wheel with because I'm the only one in my friend group that's into it. 🤣 Hurricane Creek isn't hard, aside from this one obstacle. If it wasn't for this it would be like, a 2.

@@backwoodstherapy Check out the Venture Unknown Facebook private group. You can find some rides with that group.

@@redbeastadventures I don't have Facebook is another problem. 😅 I'm part of the Jeep Crew in East TN but I'm also in healthcare so I get lots of random days off so I might decide to go wheeling on a random Tuesday when most people are at work. And lots of group rides are on weekends when I work. Oh well. My solution is to get a second jeep and let my wife wheel with me. Eventually.

Great video buddy and great job getting that big bastard through there!

Thanks. I enjoyed wheeling the Red Beast down that trail. Definitely got some more pinstripes. I got the initial scratches over with on the first off road trip to Brown Mountain. Now just try to keep it from getting dented otherwise game on. New WKO rock sliders will be awesome once I receive them and get them installed.

Good video! Interested in knowing what that gx was running. I’ve got a stock Gx other than some all terrains. Wondering if I could make it through.
@redbeastadventures8 ай бұрын
Thanks. He was running 33” BFG All Terrain tires. I would think so, just have to choose the right lines over some of the obstacles. Take a look at the lines he took in the GX. The obstacles of concern are shown in the video.

6:20 is probably the hardest obstacle. Have a good spotter. The GX in this video is one of the 2017+ model years with a low hanging front bumper with a poor (21⁰, I think) approach angle. If you have one older than that (or an aftermarket bumper), it would be way easier.

Love your videos and love your PW! My 2023 is identical minus ramboxes and I have 35" RT Trails (awesome tires!). Your truck makes me want to go to 37s haha! Any thoughts on making it to Uwharrie? I plan on going once I also receive my Dethloff Mfg trans skid and when I get WKO sliders. Ran URE a bunch back in the day with my old Jeep and loved it, curious to see what a PW can do!

Thanks for watching. 37s are awesome along with the Thuren suspension setup. I will definitely be going to Uwharrie and Windrock as well. WKO sliders will be shipped and installed in a few weeks. 😀 I need to order the Dethloff transmission skid plate as well myself. Been busy getting setup and purchasing camping gear. I would definitely be camping at Uwharrie and Windrock. I think the PW will do well at both spots. Mine is an offroading beast that climbs like a mountain goat.

That’s some tight trails for a wagon. You think you would have cleared everything with 35s?
@redbeastadventures2 ай бұрын
Definitely. 35s would work well. Rock sliders are definitely a good idea.
