So wish I could get to one of your classes. I’m even seeing about getting one on the schedule for 2025 as a host to make it happen

So on a subsecond draw is he using a gross sight picture or actually acquiring the dot?
@ModernSamuraiProject9 ай бұрын
Depends on distance and/or the size of the target. At 3 on an A zone I still get the dot but when working speed I experiment with gross sight pictures. At 5 and beyond I always use the dot.

FYI...it would be great if we could actually see what you're diagramming.

Sorry man. I go ahead and refund what you paid to watch the video.

Terrific stuff!

Front sight clear, rear sight blurry, target blurry. You can draw your target without looking at it when you're done shooting.

The 90s called. They want their technique back.

Yeah but it worked then and it works now.

@@ModernSamuraiProject OK, I don't put optics on my guns. I shoot them out of the box stock. In competition and practicing for self-defense. I don't trust optics, especially when they rely on electronics, and I don't need them because I learned how to shoot effectively and efficiently with the irons. Please don't mistake, I'm not saying that people should do what I do, I'm an certified firearms instructor and I am just putting information out there. If it helps someone great. If it doesn't help someone that's OK too but at least I tried. By the way, when I was talking about drawing your target, I didn't mean literally drawing the target and all that. What I meant is by using the front site which different site Academy teaches along with the very long list of instructors and professional shooters, you will know where your shots landed on the target before you even focus on it.

@@ModernSamuraiProject efficient and effective from 150 yards. Everyone is different. I just decided that the professional shooters probably know the best ways to do it because they are pros. 10" steel plate at 150 yards standing with a Glock 30 .45 ACP (no optics). It works. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqq5c4ObbZp3fKcsi=tRBAeAhrXfnTIt2i

Red dots on pistols are a joke anyway. If you can't use regular sights, don't shoot.

LMAOOOOO tell me you can’t shoot, without saying you can’t shoot
