The question I always have is how free is red force to try to find ways to beat blue force? Based on the limitations of the hard deck being high above the ground that you can't use it to mask your movements, you're required to brief the other side where your are going to be at what time with what. There are restrictions on what altitude bands you have to be in. limits on separation. What kind of maneuvers you are allowed in specific altitudes. Seems that if the Buccaneers were still flying today, they would not be allowed to fly the way the RAF taught them to fly. Fast and low, so low that you fly below the power lines.
@Tacor7022 жыл бұрын
As an aggressor Crew Cheif (Viper AMU) our pilots were always very intuitive in terms of intercepting and attacking Blue Force. I’m fact, one year and one of the last Red Flags of that year we moved nearly our entire AMU to a base within the NTTR so Blue Force would be caught by surprise when our pilots intercepted. Being that our aircraft were also closer to said operating base it allowed our pilots extended time in the “AOR”. This was a big deal, as Blue Force would anticipate when our aircraft would be bingo fuel and RTB, only to realize that wasn’t the case. Additionally, we would occasionally be invited to watch HUD videos with our pilots. Often times they would be
