Fond memories. I have walked all those trails on that side of the park - the Tetsmine three times, once as an interpretive hike on which I had 18 in attendance. My happy place. Sadly, those days have passed as I approach my 80th trip around the sun. Thank you for posting this. It made my day.

Hi Terry! Great to hear from you and happy you found my video. Yes, that part of the park is special to me too. That really is the first part of the park (Tetsmine Trail) that I started hiking back in the early 90s. I didn’t know you had led hikes there too. You were all over the place eh? We had Andy and Bridget over for a visit yesterday afternoon and it was really nice to see them again. We visited them at their farm last fall. We really need to visit more often but it’s just far enough away to be a pain. 😊 Yes my number of trips around the sun are adding up too and it’s crazy how the time keeps flying by. Take care, Todd

@@hervedelnorte7928 Now that I am no longer able to hike farther than 3 km due to a deteriorating knee, and, well - maturing years (!), my regret is that I didn't complete all the Frontenac trails like I had planned. The Slide Lake Trail looked a little scary due to its length, but did manage (twice), the outer 9 km loop. I guess I walked about 75% of the trails so I am happy. Yes - Andy mentioned you being in "the County".

Oh my, you really did make some pretty great sightings and captured for yourself marvelous memories!! And isn't great just scuffling threw those leaf covered paths...enjoy that sound myself thoroughly. Take good care and I appreciate you taking the time to put this together and share.

Another excellent video! Nice, that you've well taken advantage of the various mild days we have enjoyed this Fall. Amazing, for two days of hiking. Good, to see you finally resting on the deck. As your skills as an artist, always beautify your videos. Nice captures of the Redheads. Thank you! Pat

Thank you very much! It was a memorable hike for sure with that very warm day. The Woodpeckers were a nice bit of “icing on the cake” so to speak. How is your artwork going these days? I think you do architectural work correct?

@@hervedelnorte7928 Very nice work! Remarkable you were able to walk all day, after so much hiking the day before. The warm days, were also accompanied by fairly high humidity. Making the hiking more challenging. I love your work and videos. You are my nature whisperer. When I am stuck in the city. lol I work as a web designer. But love to illustrate, like you. Working to building up an illustration portfolio as well. I hope to sell. Enjoy a great week!

@@seanmitchell4382Thanks Pat! I’m happy to be your “nature whisperer”.😊 Ahhh! Web designer eh? I could use some of your skills. I’m pretty tech unsavvy. Sadly I have not been doing much artwork lately. I had always planned to do more when I retired but I always seem to be doing other stuff. Maybe this winter I’ll get back at it.
