This tells me that if Batman jacked some alien tech, and made some long-range stun blasters - which I'm fairly certain he could - that virtually every one of his fights in Gotham would be the quick work of 5-10 minutes - especially if they were silenced! I get the whole, "no killing" thing, and I am here for it, but his refusal to use _anything_ gun-like/shaped (except for his grappling hook launcher, apparently) has really kneecapped his caped crusading.
