i learned my first ever song on this channel, i played my first chord ever on this channel and it was 10 years ago, and guitar was only a hobby, but im making music now and whenever i come back to this channel to see how a song is played, i can learn it from the first 50 seconds or so, just by looking at what you're playing and understanding what it is, how its played, how its picked and all, thank you so much, you made guitar an easy thing for me, and now all im trying to advance in is music theory cause im starting to appreciate the whole blues/jazz side of music and wanna be able to improvise too

hey, great lesson thank you! i was wondering if you could explain the strumming pattern a little more for the initial c-g-f-d chords you play. you start off playing just the single strings to produce the melody while you're teaching it, but then when you actually go to play you're strumming a few more notes during those sections that are a little hard for me to pick out. i was wondering if you could explain what you're doing a little more?
