I was front and centre in the moshpit, fucking exhausted after all the bands before them (foo fighters, qotsa) so the entire RHCP set was just stunned amazement from start to finish. Each song was probably their best ever performance or near enough to it. John was possessed by something, and the others came along for the ride. Perfect sound, constant chills all over, the terrain of Slane is perfect, forming a natural amphitheater. No wind, amazing crowd. Such a chemistry between the band and crowd. No stupid phones or selfie taking idiots. The best gig of my life hands down.

You gotta be kidding.. he is one of the best in all music history, but this solo was far from clean... and he got out of time/pace a few times. He started to play kinda perfectly at the end of the solo, when he went for the very high notes. But that's just my opinion.
@lauragiurovich7 ай бұрын
@@brunomartinello1114 as I grew up I stopped seeking perfection. ‘Out of time’ ‘pace’ I couldn’t even care less. I just want to listen raw human aliveness. My linear and prejudicial mind is not even there. I want something that makes my soul, heart and essence on fucking fire. I want to be completely absorbed in a trance so deep that when I open my eyes I ask myself ‘what the fuck am I doing?’. So, yes. I want artists to make a guitar have heart, eagerness and sexuality. Black rebel motorcycle club, white stripes, jack white, john, audioslave, pearl jam. That’s what I’m seeking. Non-linear minded people.
