Thanks Alex, as far as I know MITO light bed has pulsing function and considering we are in energy crises, panels take less power, so are more economic! But I have seen, top athletes use light beds in their preparation for game: it cuts the time in half when whole body is treated during 10min session. Light beds are best for gyms or other sport or beauty centers, unless you have a large villa and even larger bank account!
@LightTherapyInsiders2 жыл бұрын
Hey, yes but less power from a pulsed function means less irradiance on the body. Yeah I think the beds are best suited for the professional/commercial user or very wealthy biohackers!

Can pick up old free tanning beds on marketplace and put a few hundred bucks worth of red light bulbs in them and come in much cheaper than panels. You don't even have to use both sides of the bed. And you can stand them up vertically.

Yes, you can.

Alex, can you do an updated video about this? And I hope you've had a chance to use red light beds since. Red light/infrared light beds are like $70,000. The good ones. Wondering if it's worth it

I have used a bed a few times at a tanning place. The red light was very bright almost white. They recommended to use eye protection. I did not experience pain reduction and stop going. A panel I would probably use more often, like my omnilux mask.

I’ve been gathering info on red light/NIR devices, and the only significant user comment about side effects I’ve seen was from someone who used a bed for 15 minutes at a tanning salon. She reported a lasting burning sensation on her skin, twitching facial movements, and agitation/sleeplessness. I noticed the latter 2 are symptoms consistent with serotonin overdose/adverse reactions. And red/NIR has been reported to be effective for treating depression, so it is likely to be boosting serotonin levels. Seems like in a bed, you’d likely be getting double the dose, as compared to full-body panels, so you’d need to be careful about getting such side effects. This could be a real concern if a user is ingesting anything that impairs serotonin breakdown (meds thando this often are listed as interacting with SSRIs). So having the ability to vary time and light intensity seems especially key for beds as well as front/back panels.

Hey. Oh wow yeah this is the first I've heard of such an issue. I have never used a bed though - so maybe the extra energy load can be overwhelming? I'd be curious to see what the companies who sell these products (Novothor for instance) recommend to first time users.
@eh3477 Жыл бұрын
Can you elaborate on the serotonin overdose/adverse reaction? What's the specific negative symptom? Haven't heard of this before.
@chrispompano11 ай бұрын
I think its called Serotonin syndrome. I recently read of a supplent interactions that can cause this, now I can't remember which! Time to buy the Neuradiant 1070 !!!!!!
@eh3477 Жыл бұрын
My general understanding is that red light beds at spas, tanning salons and gyms are red light only. They don't have NIR light, which most panels and higher-end red light therapy beds do have. So they're not fully comparable to high quality panels-? We also don't know the EMF level of the gym red light beds.
@LightTherapyInsiders Жыл бұрын
Yes good point. I hope to test some of these professional devices soon.

My main question is the LED's in the bed vs. the panels. I wonder if that will be the significant performance factor? I'm going to do a commercial space but I was thinking to just stack 4 biomax 900's on each side.

Hey, yeah I can't really comment on the Beds as I haven't used them :( Hoping to change this in the near future though. I know a lot of clinics go with multiple panels though - as it's a lot cheaper, and a smaller footprint. Also have a look at this - kzbin.info/www/bejne/anfKlomvbayCbJI

Couldn't you take a small closet, hang panels on all 3 sides and 1 on the door. install a little fan. Point is if most external cells in your body are happy then it saves more of life energy for the rest.

I use a bed and LOVE it. However, I could never afford one so I have s membership at a local tanning salon. I do 15 minutes per day. I use this time to meditate and deep breath. I don’t want yo multi task when I’m doing it. This is the only 15 minutes of my day where I totally unplug

BIOMAX PANELS seem stronger than sleeping bags, however as sb are much closer maybe there is not much difference? And sb / blankets can go under your body so they take half of treatment time! isn't it?

The panels are much stronger, thus requiring less treatment time. Both work, just a different system.

Beds are getting sold between 4,600 to 15,000 on alibaba What makes them so expensive somewhere else
@LightTherapyInsiders Жыл бұрын
Hey, yes that is a good question. I guess it comes down to a local company ensuring the product meets local regulations etc (costs involved with getting the certificates etc). Maybe the local company ships from a warehouse rather than out of China (bringing the customers shipping cost and time down but meaning higher costs). Local warranty and support. Extra branding. Better manual and support documents etc. This video may interest you - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHuyeaGdmZyDi6s
@lieslnichols7572 Жыл бұрын
Most companies are getting them from alibaba. The beds are whitelabeled with their name. Most are from China. .look into it!! These companies selling $60k, $75k beds are actually beds that only cost $9-15k. Many bed companies are deceptive too about their wavelengths and irridance. Someone needs to expose them!!! The most expensive one called the Novothor at $120k has less power (irridance) than an alibaba one that costs $12,500.

I been getting treatment at a place near me that has that bed, it offers more than just red light, it also has green light and sound/frequency therapy. The problem is I can't find any reviews for this. Seems to be the most advanced, the owner told me it's $300,000. More than nova thor
