Thank you for going to Martin's Fork Overlook. I had no idea that even existed. I've been scouting spots for sunrise/sunset photos and stopped by there today. This looks like a wonderful place for a sunset photo. Oh, and I picked up the beer can.

It’s a nice easy access spot and I think there’s some good foreground options there for sunset. I didn’t have a bag for trash with me or I’d have taken it that day, thanks for picking it up!

Nice work, once again, D-Rob! I especially love The Gorge in the winter. You can really appreciate the geology so much more. Spring and autumn are great too. But like you said, too many people.

Thanks! Yeah, without the leaves things aren’t hidden like they are the rest of the year. There’s less color in the woods but Winter definitely has its perks.

You’d be surprised the trails are never populated if you god during the week and as long as your not going to auxier ridge or the Indian staircase trailheads

Another excellent adventure! Some nice new short hikes for me, and Gray's Arch is one of my favorite arches in The Gorge too. I plan to come down next month and will check out the new places. Thanks!

This is where I’ll be backpacking this weekend. I took a screenshot of the trail you said to follow so pretty excited. Btw I don’t like stairs either. 😂

Awesome! Should be a good weekend for it. Stairs are terrible, especially toward the end of a hike lol

Sick. Haven't been down to the gorge since October and startin to get the itch pretty bad. Not sure if your videos help satisfy that itch or just make it itchier. But thanks regardless. Great stuff 👌

Seeing others photos/videos always make my itch worse! Lol Thanks man!

Hey are you from KY. I live in Boyle County and over the last year or so my wife and I have been exploring the gorge. Like your videos

I am, roughly 30 minutes east of you on 150. Lots to see in the gorge, glad you enjoy the videos, thanks for watching!

Sometime maybe we'll meet. You're not sharing some cool stuff hidden by greys arch. Glad you're not. Safe hiking. Going tmr
@ExploringWithDRob Жыл бұрын
There’s tons of cool stuff in that area. There’s at least 15 arches within 1/4 mile of Grays. And no telling how many that haven’t been found yet! Likewise, enjoy your adventure!

Great video, as usual. If I could pick your brain, I'd appreciate it. My wife and I will be staying a few mid-week days in June. I'm hoping to find some decent trails within walking distance to where we're staying, but without the ability to post pics in the comments, the best I can do is tell you we're going to be stating off 1036, near Cable Cemetery Rd. Are you familiar with the area and could you recommend a couple? We're capable of, and comfortable with, any level. Thanks in advance for your time.

I’m familiar with 1036 but not that particular road. Some areas with arches/hiking/climbing are Pendergrass Murray Recreational Preserve, Cathedral Domain and Hollerwood. The Sheltowee Trace cuts across through there too. The Little Sinking Creek area and Whites Branch area are both nice and have some great geology/arches. Hope some of those are nearby where you’ll be!
