I did a 5 day on this boat about 20 yrs. Ago. Around the same time in June.To this day was the best trip of my life.Capt. Andy and The crew were great. I caught so much fish.p.b.96LB. The video becomes good to watch at 10:12. Before that it was only view able with the sound turned down. To each their own but I personally like to listen to the birds, wind, and the excitement of other anglers and the interaction with the crew as the fishing progresses.

empirestatebullies I have been tying the San Diego Jam for over 15 years and never had an issue. I recently started using the Double San Diego Jam, it’s a lot stronger.... Can’t go wrong with either one...

empirestatebullies yes, I tie my hooks with the San Diego Jam also. If I’m fishing for tuna over 40# I like to use the Fish n Fool knot, it doubles around the eye of the hook, stronger than the San Diego Jam about the same strength as the double San Diego but not as bulky when using bigger line.

abdulrahman mohammed Al balloshi that’s a vague question, can you be more specific? To go on the trip you just make a reservation with a deposit, depending on the time of year some trips fill up quick so you need to make a reservation a year in advance.

abdulrahman mohammed Al balloshi these are 8 day long trips, you leave out of San Diego travel for 2 days about 500 miles south to get to the fishing area. Google San Diego long range fishing boats, each boat if different and price varies depending on the boat and length of the trip. This 8 day trip runs $2900 on this boat, tip is based on15% so you are looking at $450 you catch between 500 and 800 pounds of fish, you keep your limits and professional fish processing is $1 per pound of whole fish weight so your fish processing cost depends on your fish weight so calculate $500 total trip cost $4000 google these boats Red Rooster III, Royal Polaris, Shogun, Independence, Intrepid, Polaris Supreme, to start. After the name of each boat include sportfishing when googling. Goto my KZbin page I have a 2 part video from an 8 day trip I was just on last month. caught Wahoo, Tuna, and yellowtail what you catch during the fall trips. This video you commented on was last year in June so we only caught yellowtail. You contact the individual boats for making reservations but like I said the good trips especially in the fall fill up quick, sometimes a year in advance.

The reason these tuna boats get alot of bait is because they create artificial bait schools throwing the bait.

@@peterk814 Had about a 65 pounder blow the side out of my Penn Squider once....all because I didn't listen to the deck hand...he told me don't put any more pressure on that fish...it's a big one...we were on our way in ..Captain came over and said ..put some more pressure on that ....we gotta get going....that extra one foot of pull up and my reel blew apart when the fish seen the gaff. ..the guy who offered his pole to me ( deck hands were tying me in) after it snapped the line said ...after all that ... how come your not all pissed off....I looked at him and said ...I seen Dale Earnhardt almost win Daytona twice....got a flat once and ran outta gas once on the last lap! Hmmm that's a good way to look at it! Jack Pot fish and I was in the jackpot. . On my Birthday.... Since the 70 s I've never took my limit ... always a fish or two under...
