Red White and Blue Cocktails | WATERMELON COOLER

Red white and blue cocktails are not just for 4th of July parties, especially when they’re this delicious! Most layered cocktails that I’ve seen are absolute sugar bombs. Layers of heavy ingredients that are all style and no substance. This is not your typical party cocktail!
RED: Watermelon juice. You could also use watermelon purée (which is just a fancy way of saying: throw some watermelon chunks in a blender and pour). Either works great, I just happened to have a metric ton of watermelon juice from the watermelon keg incident of June 24. • How to make a Watermel...
WHITE: I used Pellegrino here. Any sparkling or soda water will do. You can even try tonic… I personally don’t like tonic water, but you do you!
BLUE: Empress Gin. This butterfly pea flower infused gin is naturally a beautiful blue color, and the perfect pairing for this patriotic cocktail! Often you’ll see Blue Curaçao used for something like this, and I’m here to put an end to that nonsense. Down with Blue Curaçao!

For those of you with delicate sensibilities… well, I don’t know why you’re here anyway. I believe this was the first video of yours that I watched. I came back to thumbs up it, but already did that. I peaked artistically in kindergarten, so I'm not the best at making things look all pretty... I adopted the term Ugly Delicious from a show by David Chang... Anyways, knowing that, I was able to make an acceptable version of this cocktail. Instructions were perfect and it was really impressive.

Pro Tip: if Empress Gin isn't in your budget, you can get the same result by buying butterfly pea blossoms, a cheaper Gin, and infusing it yourself! I did this with my Ford's Gin. 10/10 will do again.

On a side note, in case there's ever a time when you are not filled with rage at what's going on in the world but still need crushed ice, fast food places, like Sonic for example, have "pebble ice" for sale.
