Hi CJ, Rashid’s here.. I finally got my tenth boot 2days ago, the engineer 2268, after longing for it for so long due to limited size. I’m 6 ft tall, wearing size 11 1/2. I’ve been following ur channel since last year and review are great.. very helpful. Thnx a lot bro..!!

CJ Cook Hi CJ, it felt like I’m wearing my Pecos 1155, really hug my foot all over. Getting in and out without the boot horn get me sweating, but with it(a long plastic piece, which I got it for free) it’s slide like butter.. hv to wiggle when removing it thou.. he he..!! Wore it twice since I bought, feels fine, no issue of pinching elsewhere except the top foot boot strap.😂🤣

Nice!! I have the 2990 in black and the 2991 in Amber without steel toes and they were surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. Maybe because mine have the same exact soles as the Iron Ranger with the lower heal. Half size down just like my other Red Wings worked perfect. Love Red Wing boots!!

Oooh, been waiting for this: Engineer Boots! Those look amazing! And chromexcel as well! I got only a single pair of RW engineers, just the run-of-the-mill, amber 2990s, but I adore them! Many don't feel they can pull them off, but it is a great, timeless look. My advice? Just give them a try! You'll be struttin' 'round your town in no time. Great boot, mahalo!

You can use boot stretchers. Use one part isopropyl alcohol to three parts water and dampen the inside of the boot and then put the structures in place...

Im having a hard time choosing between the 9268 black klondike and the 2268 black chrome just because of the leather. I know klondike will fade with brown patina but apart from that how would you compare the characteristics of black klondike vs black chrome?
@CJCook5 жыл бұрын
I think the Black Klondike is a nicer leather visually. They both have a matte look to them but when you buff a patina(ed) Black Klondike it looks absolutely amazing!

Hey bud, just got a pair of RW 2976 10” Engineers from Da Rack. It was supposed to be a pair of Mocs but they got the order mixed up. It retails for $380 but it’s on the site for $250 and wit da mix up I’d only be paying $150. No brainer to keep them yea?
