When his voice breaks when he says my lovely lady May. My heart breaks it's a sweet song but man this guy's got so much soul. the words the way he sings them you know it's all from the heart from finish to start and yes I wrote that correctly. It's my way of saying he is letting his heart guide the way, so time won't exist only love of his lady May matters. And that's just unreal to hear. It's been a long time since I like a artist like Tyler. I hope he goes back to making songs like this album bottles and Bible's again as it was pure Gold.

I know this man will probably never see this. But, I’m 26, from the East TN/KY and I dated the same girl on and off since Jr. year of high school. She moved in up on the new house they had built on my great uncles property, we lived a half-mile away from a small mill on a backroad, and if you follow that same road you eventually get to the river. You took all my cares away there. We built a relationship that kept us relying on one another in times of need. Whenever one of us had no one else to talk or understand.... she was there. She died the 20th of January of this year in a car accident. Throughout all the ups and downs, she was my lady may. I love you Larissa.

sorry for your loss brother i have lost a good number of friends to heroin, murder, prison i too know the feeling of losing someone you love long before their time but their pain is gone, laid down and cast aside with all their burdens of this life, this world i guess it's our nature to pick up these burdens to put them on our shoulders make their pain and worries and sorrows our own your beautiful Larissa shall suffer no more like my brother, overdosed a pretty day in May four years ago but it still feels like yesterday we are the ones who suffer they are the ones which are free until we too lay our burdens down cast our cares and troubles and all of this pain aside if there's anything on the other side then brother rest assured she will be there by some ethereal eternal river, bathing in sunshine smiling, waiting for you keep your chin up like she would've wanted

I can’t even fathom someone loving me this way. That Lady May sure is one lucky girl. This may be the most beautiful song I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Songs like this put tylet up there with woody Guthrie, buddy Holly, and other artist who writes these compelling stories and guitat work. Truly amazing what this man can do with a guitar and his voice
