That go cart is the story of my life. I have been trying for the last two years to get go carts done for my girls for Christmas. We have had a lot of rain this fall and I got so close. This is a great fix/ build.

Just starting a project with my grandson, I've had an antique kart in the garage attic for quite a while and he had this idea for another project to do together. Hey Greg, great cheap way to save your welding shield, use pledge furniture polish. Not the cleanser, the polish. I spray a little on there, and wipe it off to clean the shield, then put a little more on there and ‘buff’ it until it has turned into a thin clear layer. It really helps keep the spatter from sticking to the plastic. I used to do it every morning, and it made my lens last three times as long…

Love your channel, I look for each new installment . I'm using what I've learned from your channel to tackle an off-road go kart build. It's a Duromax 440, double wish bone front, swing arm rear. There are builds & rebuilds when serial number 1 needs to be better. Your previous videos are a valuable resource for refining the build.

That's some Awesome information.I recall you putting a bolt through a nut welded to a cart for a 'Pedal-Stop' so a parent can limit the throttle ,and adjust as the kids grew and were better drivers.What a Great year,watching you guys with all the fun,and adventures.TY.Happy New Year to you all,and the fans everywhere.

he will cut the axle to width ,, he shows that on other Go Kart videos ,, the axle stock comes long like that . if left long on the ends it would bend with out bearings near the wheels ..

Awesome idea's. You guys are an inspiration. Now in my mid sixties and finally got myself a mini bike project, a frame, front end and a box of bits and pieces from a coleman ct100u. Worked as a prototype welder/fabricator and enjoy doing custom work as well, can't wait to get started.
