We had a wet spell the past couple weeks, I haven't been checking out any land rc's as of yet, I just recently recieved my XL POWER 550, had a friend of mine complete the re-assembly (disasembled) for shipping to Guam, and he was able to do a quick maiden flight to ensure airworthiness, but had to cut the EC5 connectors that it came with to use his battery with a (deans plug) connector but the battery headed my way has the EC5 connector ends so maiden flight for me has been scrubbed/delayed for now lol ! I made a very short video of the heli (heli and tx) only on my channel, no commentary at all though.

@@rcreviews9894 my poor xmaxx is getting its motor replaced. Traxxas is covering it. I haven’t been running it. I recently got a limitless it’s just something else bro. I love that redcat impala. It’s a fun project to work on and upgrade! Don’t go too crazy lol $$

Limitless aye, I’ve always wanted one of those haven’t got around to getting one yet, you know me I like fast Rc’s!! Im hoping RedCat will come out with different bodies or cars! I wouldn’t mind seeing a “Training Day” style Monte Carlo or a long body caddy!

@@rcreviews9894 yeah it’s 250.. Maybe you can find a body shell online and try to make it fit. They should of offered more body styles that’s for sure tho. That’s a nice little toy to show off to ur friends lol

Nice 👍 that green candy paint looks good with the gold d’s, I like them not only because they look better than stock but you can pull off a nice 3 wheel motion cause the tires are smaller

Thanks, as a matter of fact they do sell mini subs for this Rc as an upgrade! They go across the interior inside the car, this is a pricey kit, it’s not for everyone, it’s more of a collectors Rc that is meant mainly for show when it comes to upgrades and personalization, but because it has that nostalgia for me as well as a really scale setup, to me it’s worth it, chrome chassis upgrades are next on the agenda for this one, appreciate the watch and positive feedback 👍

@@rcreviews9894 What size are the chrome stock tires? Do you know? It’ll help me to know the size when I shop around. I’ve only seen 26” gold tires which look super big and too flamboyant on a car. It’s just not my taste.

Yeah I think it’s up to me to make it more appealing with upgrades and what not, I agree it’s pricey, it’s a one time purchase for me, and probably the only RedCat Rc I will buy, unless they come out with something out of this world amazing, appreciate the watch brother👍

I agree but they could have at least put 2 servos in the front for the price that number 4 switch that does Nothing is A Emoty channel to add A 4th servo so u have 2 in front it will hop much better

@@MightyistheRCGamer that’s cool, yeah I’m hoping RedCat will make more, I want an old school “Training Day” Monte Carlo, or a long body caddy that would be sick!!! I ended up putting the chrome rims back on, I like the Gold ones they look better to me but when I’m hopping it, because the gold rims are on a smaller tire, it chassis slaps the pavement, the stock chrome tires are bigger so I reinstalled those, why does candy paint cost more? Just wondering?

Yes sir 🤙 however, adjustments can be made to tweak how it hops by removing or adding the included weights

I think it’s worth it simply because of the scale realism and hydros, however I do think it’s over priced, 399 would have been a more appropriate number, it’s not like your typical Rc, it’s mainly for show and customizing to make it your own
