I was so stoked about these when I first saw them, but I don't like how they're undersized and underpowered. I love the 4ws option though, and knowing that it can handle 3s (even if it's not rated for it). I'm on the fence on this one for now.

I don’t think it’s undersized and under powered at all. It’s pretty on par with the smasher.

@ that’s what I mean though, with the Smasher being 1/24 and this being MT18. And the Smasher is a basher/crawler hybrid, so it can get away with a 6 mph top speed a little easier than a full-fledged, specifically designed monster truck. When the TRX-4MT was released with its low top speed it was ridiculed pretty hard. Size-wise, the other 18 scale monster trucks dwarf this one. So, I still think it’s undersized and underpowered.

It’s pretty good. The ascent 18 also has very good steering angle and I think this follows that.

Are there any other body options that would be compatible with the MT18? I like the attachment method but would prefer a more contemporary truck body.

There are tons of body options out there, but mounting them is the problem. So far none that just straight up mount, but with some creativity, the possibilities are nearly endless

Hmmm. Not sure if it’s the same bolt pattern and pinion mod. I know the TRX4M motors (and any aftermarket for them) will fit.
