We all forget that Ruben has only been at the club for 3 months. He was not with the team for pre-season training and has inherited a shambles of a team. he is tring to cram as much trainig inbetween a huge amount of matches and he needs better players. I’m Portuguese so I think I understood what he was trying to find as word to express his thoughts… The end product he’s looking for it’s bonding, no doubt, but he was trying to say when the team concentrates the day before a match and they stay together since the night before, I also don’t know if there’s a word in English football terminology for that… They get together the day before and they stay together until the match, either in the academy or hotel or whatever… That helps people being together in other kind of situations outside football and get to know each other better and the bonding can come from that… Just trying to help 😊 Peace ✌️

I don't think so. I am also portuguese and the word he was missing i am missing as well. It's when at the start of the season and before games the team is together in some place, sleeping on the same place, just focused on the game, competition or pre-season. In portuguese we say "estágio" that is translated as "internship" but it is not quite the same. What do you call to the period that the national team spent together before an world cup for example, practicing, playing some friendlies?

The final ball is lacking. They need to keep Eriksen on in the squad, even as a player who comes off the bench, as he is the only one who can do Özil-esque final balls dependably. Especially when facing defenses that are hard to break down, delivering one of these precisely-aimed final balls is useful. I've noticed that Man Utd have a habit of doing crosses aimed at the far post that do not work well, as the receiving player has to sprint too far forward and often misses the pass because the ball is stopped by the keeper or the ball crosses the finishing line before the player can intercept it. Training should focus on all players being able to give decent final balls. Too many of these passes are not good, leading to wasted opportunities to score. There are lots of ways Man Utd can improve their finishing. I think finishing is one of their main core problems.
