I've had a few Accords, never a Camry, but have had other Toyota's. My .02, the Accord's have all been surprisingly fun to drive and comfortable for the most part. It's nice Honda finally decided to offer a decent sound system, although I'm not a huge fan of Bose car audio, but it's got to be a step up from what the Accord offered in the past for the "premium audio" option. But cosmetically, they don't hold up as well - exterior body panels *will* rust anywhere there is a rock chip or scratch, the rubber bits will all break down under the sun and become gooey and cracked, sheet metal is very thin and the paint is delicate. Toyota's seem to hold up better in this regard, with better quality steel, exterior rubber and paint, and less proclivity for rust. But when you move to the inside, Honda interiors, excluding their poor quality leathers that shrink and harden with any exposure to water, do seem more cohesive and tend to look nicer, longer. I don't know what it is with Honda choosing for far too long to use the worst quality leather possible, but I wouldn't count on the leather staying nice for the long term unless you manage to NEVER get any moisture on it. Toyota has always used better leather (except the steering wheel, Honda does use full grain on that where Toyota uses what seems like bonded leather or mid-grain with a vinyl paint that looks like trash after a few years). So neither car checks all the boxes, really, but they both look like a pretty solid value for the price point, which honestly seems insane to say when you're talking about $40k which used to buy a really nice near-luxury car. But that's where we are.

I agree almost. SUV's typical have more body roll. The Mazdas are great. They have a torsion beam rear. Not something generally considered a handling attribute. But ride and comfort are pronounced. They are a little cheaper for the manufacturer as well. Most people could not tell the difference in their day to day commute. Personally. Honda, Toyota Mazda and Subaru are all a great choice. I might still avoid Mitsubishi & Nissan. Although they are making strides in the right direction.

Camry for the win. Spare tire, sportier looks, AWD, better fuel economy, and the two tone (black roof) looks amazing - especially in supersonic red!

Both super solid...but Accord gets destroyed in the sound test. Hard pass onnthe noisy interior.

One thing you could not consider is the dealership experience. I just sold my 2022 Honda Civic. I had a wonderful two years with the car. But Honda would not negotiate for a Accord. They also wanted to add 3k of useless crap. On top of MSRP. Toyota sold me a loaded SE. $2.450 under MSRP. No crap no BS. That was huge. Anyone want the name of the dealership, hit me up

What’s the dealership?

Particularly in the lower trims the Camry is much superior to the Accord IMO. Compare the Camry LE to the Accord LX for standard features, gas mileage, etc. The Camry is definitely better - no comparison really.

Honestly the Camry for me all day, more power, same mpg, AWD, pano roof, much sportier design on both the inside and outside. The Accord doesn’t look bad, it’s just boring when compared to the Camry. Thought Honda would’ve added AWD to the new accord but they didn’t. Im also pretty sure the Camry offers memory seats and rain sensing wipers on the XLE

I don't want turbocharged engines or all wheel drive. I would buy the Camry LE that has front wheel drive and an inline 4 cylinder engine. I believe all Accords use turbocharged engines.

The Accord Hybrids do not. They have a 2.0 naturally aspirated I-4 + electric motor.

I’ve always loved the Accord but I think the step away from driver engagement and handling dynamics was a mistake. For maybe the first time ever I’d probably go with the Camry.

You can also remote start the Camry. There is just not dedicated remote start button on the remote but you can remote start it. Of the two vehicles, I'd choose the Camry.

Love Honda and Toyota but reluctant to by the Accord due to the lack of AWD.

The Camry XLE trim has memory seats and rain sensing wipers on the premium package but not the XSE

Camry, but it's close on the models you chose. If you compare high trim, FWD Camry vs. Accord Touring I believe the Camry price point difference will be significant.

I feel Toyota always makes a better product. I own a Honda Crosstour 2015 ready to upgrade, but Honda never fixed the Push start problem I had to live with.. Looks like a Toyota for me.

I've owned both cars in slightly older models, and I'd definitely say that if you want to have fun dribbling on the road, you should choose the Camry. If you want German technology, you should choose the Accord.

Both very competitive cars Accord is sportier , has better material but Toyota has better power train and reliability

Do you have to pay for the remote start after trial? I thought that was just for on your phone. Our 2012 Lexus just had you press the lock key 3 times to start- no subscription required.
