Ddlc's designs are the kind that are so simple yet so iconic that it never crossed my mind that I could do a redesign, but the simplicity makes room for new ideas and styles.

I had the headcanon that Monika had similar hair to Sayori because Sayori was like our "love interest" and Monika was trying to copy it. It'd be really neat if after Sayori is no longer in the game, Monika "dyes" her hair a different color and prompt the player to ask about it, maybe give the option to compliment or dislike it.

i’m really happy you didn’t *drastically* change the designs. a lot of other people who redesign characters just… make an entirely new character…. and it’s rather annoying. also these are awesome i luv ur art

Suggestion: In videos where u draw/redesign multiple characters, I’d personally really like it if you did a lineup of them at the end, so we can see them all side by side! LOVE THE NEW SPRITE FOR U! Also ik Monica’s ponytail is iconic but I love ur design for her hair SO MUCH!!! Also goth Yuri headcanons are fire, but she doesn’t really present goth in the actual story at all so like there’s really no need for u to try that unless u wanted to! I think your version of her suited her very well. :)

12:55 What makes it better is that it’s such a minor detail, that you wouldn’t even notice without retrospect. Even if you noticed, you just assumed she has the difference because she’s club president or that the game doesn’t let you date her.

I feel like Sayori's bracelet is an easter egg to the characters. Y'know pink for Natsuki, green for Monika, purple for Yuri and a redder pink for Sayori

I always messed up Sayori and Natsuki bcs both hadded pink hair (and i was like 6 years old when i first say ddlc so yea) but i got your point of Monika and Sayori looking alike And btw, i loved the desings!!! (≧∇≦)/

Natsuki is my favorite from the game, I adore the heart shaped hairdo you have her. AND MONIKA!! Brains and beauty. Personally I liked the uniforms, I remember thinking they were so stylish and cute. Your short rant was delightful though and the blue looks great

I thought the same about Monica and Sayori's hair color are similar range of color (reddish), that makes Yuri's hair feels so distinct from three of them. I think that blonde matches Sayori well because she's "full of sunshine"

I agree with your statement about the hair! I don't post my art but when I draw Monika I do dark brown hair and I go for more of a strawberry blonde for Sayori.
