Amazing love the incorporation of the 13 stripes. @US-OF-Z. Any chance for individual videos of State borders being redrawn. NYC/Long Island. Chicago. Greater Idaho. Greater West Virginia. North Califronia and Coastal California.

I would say the Arkansas flag should have had its name removed. Words on flags are always a bad design.

As a Missourian, I didn't like the design. But I am unaware if there is a good redesign for Missouri. Personally, I use my own Redesign IRL.

I don’t think you should’ve went for the 13 stripe standardization. There should be a focus on the design of the flags themselves, front and center. For some of the preexisting banners you used, such as Arkansas and Indiana, I think you should’ve removed the state names. For Michigan, I feel there should’ve been 26 stars to represent Michigan being the 26th state. There is an over-representation of the 13 colonies on a state’s flag that wasn’t event apart of the 13 colonies. Also the states with impressions should have more contrast. Overall these look more like collectable stickers than flags.

For North Carolina, you could’ve put four smaller white or yellow shield INSIDE the four red shields. Boom, 8 shields,

Ok so in my opinion this just makes the thirteenth stripes into a new Union Jack watermark as I think the Florida and Alaska ones looked great… except for the thirteenth stripes on the left side as it makes the flags feel really cramped as it seems these deigns seemed more like ones forced by a government then made by the states themselves but that’s my opinion.

Great flags! I love most of them. Vermont, New York, US Virgin Islands, and Virginia. I have some suggestions tho: - Hawaii's OG flag could remain the way it is. It has a far longer history of being a country before US annexation than Texas, and also already has stripes. It should have the Texas treatment. - If New England gets to have its own standard design, shouldn't South also get to have their own? Maybe Southern states could have different colored stripes like NY? - Iowa's original flag is good, and should have the same design (with stripes added). Dont like the new sickle symbol. - Nevada definitely needs to be designed. A suggestion could be having the map of the state as it has an interesting design.

For Kansas, I would just have the standard red and white stripes and nothing else to represent Sam Brownback's tax cuts.

I feel like this is the first flag video where a lot of the redesigns are actually really good and not just “vexilology society” crap The only real issue i take is the stripes on the side of all of them, i get the concept i just think it kinda takes away from the rest of the design

Hey thanks for the feedback. Personally I still like the stripes but people’s opinions tended to be about 60/40 in favor whenever I asked. At the end of the day it’s just fun to design em lol

I think for Delaware, rather than simply tacked on a Swedish Flag inside the Diamond, we can instead expand the cross to cover the whole diamond then flip the colore to bring back the Yellow as the primaries. All in order to make the flag both distinctive, connected to both Sweden and Delaware, as well as aesthetically more pleasing

Several of them almost work. For instance the Virginia one is almost perfect. The only problem is trying to tie them all together with the 13 stripes. I get what you are going for but I dont think it works. Personally I think the state flags work best when they look like they could be for separate countries. That is why Ohio, New Mexico, and Maryland have such great flags, their uniqueness.

The NY design would look better without the stripes (I like the two stars and Lady Liberty). Puerto Rico's flag doesn't need a change

Ohio was basically a golden state for industry and railroad, all cities here either grew due to River/lake trade industry, or Railroad and car industries

Not bad redesign for Maryland but the original is a classic. As for Pennsylvania, first off howdy fellow Pennsylvanian. Interesting design but I prefer the original.

The United States of America was founded as a Federation of States (the 18th-century word for a Sovereign Country), and a few states had their own flags even before the 13 States became federated. So, the excuse for putting the 13 stripes watermark is unjustified, and I agree with a comment below this that each flag should be unique. Remove the 13 stripes watermark, and most of these would be fine. However, most of the flags just need to have the seal removed in favor of an emblem, or remove the name from an already good flag.

The flag of Hawai’i should never ever ever be changed! That said, your design of the volcanoe with islands in the left corner was solid. The contrast of the Union Jack and stripes to the left didn’t work in no opinion. Honestly, I’m not really a fan of the stripes on all these flags. I like a lot of your New England ones though. Maine especially, that was clever.

The copper star in Arizona's flag is for the copper mining industry so the disc in your design should have been copper.

No, the Minnesota state seal does not have a duck, its a Loon, also there are no prominent mountains in Minnesota. basicallly alll four mountains in Minnesota are more low long ridges.

I think adding something to commenorate their heritage (cough cough confederacy) Im not saying that cause im a southerner (im not even american) i think it would give more diversiy to you flags as i think just the New England states getting a custom design + Hawaii getting a Union Jack in the Corner is a bit unfair

Critically speaking the 13 stripes are a bad call, maybe if you had stuck with it for all 50 states it would have at least been a respectable artistic choice but you waffled around on which states had it and which didn't so it comes off about as far from unifying as it gets. You leaned on the background silhouettes way too hard sometimes they fit but on others, combined with the stripes, make already busy flags look jam packed with stuff and too many colors. To your credit I'm a big fan of your West Virginia, New York, and Alaska flags.
