Today I'm joining the Character Redesigning Club and redesigning some characters from an old comic project of mine! I spent much of my childhood working on this story and it got many changes over the years, but the core of the story remained the same: a group of high school students fighting monsters and alien-like beings from another world. For a long time I didn't think to reboot this story at all, but in recent months I began to wonder what that story would look like if I did...

Your video (And a bunch others about old ocs redesigns/rewrites) are like fuel to me rn. Like I NEED to look at my old ocs and make something GREAT out of them (Also the PPGZ Anime was SO FUN! totally not saying this because my oldest ocs ever were inspired by the ppg/ppgz) Edit: as an agender individual, you have no idea of how much I love Shika. seeing other people's redesign videos was actually part of the inspiration for me to revisit these characters! and i used to be *super* into ppgz too, it's been a long time since i watched it but it must've lived in my head rent-free for like a year haha also i'm really glad you like shika! Plus editing was also on point in this video. I want both Teresa’s and Idalia’s boots. 💯 I think that Shika and Idalia are literally my fav characters so far… Shika for their abilities plus personality and then Idalia because of personality and design. I would defs love to cosplay Idalia also both her sword and Elea Scythe designs goes extremely hard. LOVE IT 👌😏💜
