I Love Blondie! I was in "young adult land" in this era of music. We saw them twice once in a club and once in Central Park. Very energetic show, Debbie Harry had an angelic voice. As you can hear, the rest of the band was very tight. A great age to go clubbin' with your friends. I'm glad I was there!

Love Blondie! In fact, I’m involved with trying to start a Blondie tribute band (just waiting on the keys player to recover from an operation). In my other more general covers band, we do Dreaming and Call Me. My favourite album is Eat to the Beat which starts with Dreaming. They released it as a video album, so there’s a vid for every single song on it. *side note…Clem Burke, the drummer, recently played with a local (to me [Yorkshire, England]) Blondie tribute band just before the real band played two dates at the Piece Hall in Halifax! Also, he was in Ramones for about three weeks as Elvis Ramone way back in either late 80s or early 90s

My Fav Blondie song they are all great this is very underrated commercially, it should have been a massive hit, but the market didn't get, they were so ahead of their time! So much is actually happening in this song and the video while simple also has allot going on! Lyrics are incredible Vocals, Debbie's attitude and energy (sure she was stoned, but who cares it rocks) plus who wasn't back then! I was too young but hey! what ya don't know wont hurt ya! Whole band smashed it with arrangement and tempo/pace and instrumentals are all insane! Clem Burke on drums as most will say is just incredible and still rocking and has played with so many great people and bands still today, anyone would love to have him play with them anyone! one of the nicest dudes in Rock ever. The video, simple setting but allot going on from Fab 5 Freddy to the girls and guys dancing, ya had fashion stylists, the girl with the snow googles on, I love that, the dresses the attitude girls back then were so classy yet Provocative with out being slutty on stage like today, no tat's (not anti tatoo's but its over done and no class today, no showing what not needed, just great energy, often over looked imo is the video! Band is just insane like all of them on a wave Dreaming, It still blows me away today! I love also you re did the drum section 3 times where Clem stands up and pounds to keep up with Debbies vocals often hate that., but not this time as you have an ear for instrumentals and that's rare with reactors! I played drums at school and even in a school end of year function, but then I wanted to play guitar, 2 years doing recorder ! travelling 1 1/2 hrs both ways after school to music lessons, dam I was good on a recorder, but sick of that travel I didn't go back to that class for 3rd year that was when they taught the guitar,! Got love the 70s, so structured and static in teaching. I could have learnt in days on youtube back then instead 2 years wasted playing a fracking recorder, gawd I hated that thing by the time I was done! Every time I watch Clem I wish I had stayed on drums ah joys of unspent youth! I digress, apologies! Thank you great reaction. 🤘

Always enjoyed a bit of Blondie. I'm surprised you'd never heard this one. I used to like them even as a young kid watching the on Top of the Pops here. They were new wave, more than punk but had a bit of that punk energy to them. There's even a song where she rapped. They were generally 2-3 minute songs, so you could probably do 2 or 3 in one reaction if you wanted. Not sure which of theirs you might know but there's lots of good ones. A few off the top of my head... Hanging on the Telephone, Call Me, Atomic, Sunday Girl, Maria and Denis Denis.

There three that I love, the first I heard as a boy of 13 on the radio when the family would goto our local lake, I fell in love with this song because it was soooo different from the other songs, my ears were not to good; so I didn't catch all the words, if I had heard the song a really wouldn't have understood it much; but it was "Heart Of Glass" second would be "One Way Or Another" third would be "Call Me" these three are tattooed into my brain, this last one I heard just recently and it has that 50s sound that Doo-Wop style "In the Flesh" ❤️🔥 "Dreaming" is beyond awesome as well, it has that sound that is unique to the group Blondie 🌈 oh yes Blondie is absolutely beyond awesome 🔥 and Debbie Harris is phenomenally cool 💎

I recently was playing this song in a cover band (I'm a drummer) and drumming-wise this is a very Keith Moon influenced song and criminally underrated as a drumming composition. It's also a test of arm strength to play. I love playing it. It's not as popular some of her other hits, but for my money this has always been my favorite and most genuine song of hers.

This was my introduction to the band Blondie when it hit the radio in ‘77? I’ve been a huge fan ever since. This is obviously an autobiographical piece about their goals and ambitions I would say they achieved them. Clem Burke’s drumming is very much influenced by the late drummer of the Who , Keith Moon; in fact Clem still has a framed photo of Keith in his dressing room for inspiration wherever he performs. He’s the greatest rock drummer today and has been for decades as far as I’m concerned. Thanks for posting Red.🥰
