My beautiful son was a big fan of these guys 😊 He was so very happy to get tickets to see them in Vancouver, BC. My boy passed away a year ago from Cancer at the age of 39 😢 I like to sit on my bench in my garden beside the red maple tree that he gave me me for my birthday before he died and play this song for him 💔 I hope he can see me and hear this song ❤ 🎶

I saw them in Dallas in 2012 and they did similar to this-they took pictures of fans and displayed the montage during the encore. I was lucky enough to have had my picture taken and used. They really do love their fans so much ♥️♥️

I was 10 when I heard RHCP’s version of Higher Ground and I was hooked. Now my 7 year old son and 5 year old daughter have inherited the genes of both their parents and love the overall sound of the Chili Peppers. One of the best bands ever.

My favorite memory of this song was walking in on my best friend listening to it, just as he sang,"sometimes I feel like my only friend," and interjected, "You are!" Was just feeling sick of the entire world that day, but when she busted into startled laughter, we both ended up laughing and crying on the floor. One of my worst days, completely negated by such a great frakking song. I think of her every time I hear it, and I have to smile no matter how I'm feeling in the moment

@@donholderness7628 Josh is not playing with RHCP anymore, John will be in the concerts new concerts, Josh is great his only problem was stepping in for John, we will always compare and miss John no matter who plays
