Although there have been so many losses and setbacks within the band's trajectory, the connection that these four gentlemen have I have never seen in any other band, and they have always held a kind of celebration of this beautiful and eternal friendship at different times. and this song is another one of them that sums it all up, this video has always brought me a lot of joy, because I know that somehow I was also able to be part of this story a little. This band will always have my eternal respect and gratitude.

Alexander Vang i started listening to the chilis back in the 80s to their self titled album.. And what hits and so forth and whether it was hilell slovak or john frucante.. Or even dave navaro and the latest guitarist now the combination of flea and Tony being tight friends all the way and the base from the beginning have held these guys together to create diverse and totally unique songs and grow and develop their music through the decades. I highly recommend reading scar tissue Anthony's biography! He really lays it all out about his history with the band and life style. Explains a lot about how Anthony's relationships with the band members and the crazy shit that he got up to! The album Blood sugar sex magik is my all time favourite that entire album is in my opinion the pure chili peppers expression of unique and undeniably funked out alt rock! The righteous and the wicked Naked in the rain Sir psycho sexy Blood sugar sex magik Mellowship slinky in b major.. All the songs fucking crank! Then back in the day hillel with green heaven... Dave navarros influence in the album and song one hot minute or deep kick... Warped! All great songs.. Then back to good old Johnny the true legend guitarist and with chad the arguably best drummer in the world tight and intune with the funkiest bass player that ever lived flea these guys have created music that will be around played by generation after generation long after they're dead! They're still making great music today but honestly the combination of flea Tony john and chad had produced the most memorable albums and songs that have cemented them in the history books as a band that was truly a band of legendary power!

I miss John, a lot, he gave the group something they'll never get back - but at the same time Josh is an amazing guitarist as well, and he's contributing something new and amazing in his own right. I love how over the years this group manages to grow, change, and mature. Stadium Arcadium was definitely one of my favorite albums. So beautiful. Edit: It's also nice to know that over the last 20 years I've picked up Anthony's dancing style without meaning too...

Stadium Arcadium is by far their best record. Like you said, it's a masterpiece. I kinda get why people say BSSM is the best, but there's something so special about SA. I think RHCP's shift into more melodic (less funk) and almost pop sounding music was one of the best musical transitions from ANY band. Usually bands don't do good after changing their style, but RHCP did it seamlessly. (Thanks to John)

bass fill at 2:35 is a 10/10. Might be the best one in a chill peppers song. Vocal production and arrangement is a 10/10. 2006 was a good year

One of the best in my opinion, I had understood something different than the lyrics: Never been a wrong time or wrong place. Expectation kills the smile on my face... It seems once again that our experience influence a lot our perception.

Love this song and video so damn much! Flea is definitely rockin' the sombrero and serape! John's angelic vocals and guitar! Anthony's beautifully meaningful vocals and smooth moves! And of course Will Farrell...uhmm Chad's steady presence. Love my Peppers! 🌶🖤🌶
@iamcaseywood79603 жыл бұрын
Sad but in the most exquisitely beautiful way. Anthony's tone is sublime, John and Flea and Chad are as fine as it gets instrumentally and the video with their beautiful eyes is strangely moving. (Tricky Johnny dancing around on a cliff with a demonic glee is pleasingly wry.)

people need to understand this. All RHCP fans will agree that this band is one of if not the greatest of all time. We are lucky to have been born in this generation to be able to listen to them and support them . I know we all miss John, but he isn't going to come back, sadly things have to move on. We should be grateful, that at a time and age where everyone is selling out and making shit music to please the EDM/Mainstream crowd, we have legends like RHCP who are still making the best kind of music for their fans. Besides, josh is such a great guitarist, lets all appreciate RHCP for being true to their fans and themselves and for staying together and making bomb ass music for us. One day they WILL disband, and that day will be a sad day for all us. But that day is NOT today, and we still can look forward to new tracks so lets appreciate them and show them our support as true fans of this wonderful band. Their music is the soundtrack of my life.

JUDE JOESHORE I don't know about all time, but they are probably the greatest band of the generation who grew up in the 90's.
@SnakedTube6 жыл бұрын
It's not like Frusciante completely left the band nor that Josh is new to the band.. The guys have been friends like forever have worked and are still working together over different projects. So, it's not like chemistry between them is actually that different.. they're still the same team, it's just that Josh became more active while John got less..

Kliedis is a brilliant vocalist and the band wouldn't be RHCP without him. I dont understand why the other members get the credit, its like he is being seen as the stone the builders threw away. That stone is the cornerstone!

My favorite RHCP music video of all time. It always gives me goosebumps: Their love for each other is pure, raw, and so special. ♥
@leonche644 жыл бұрын
I saw the RHCP in 1987, and was a fan. BEFORE John joined the band. I was a fan while he was in the band, and after he left the first time. And after he left the second time. And when he leaves the third time, I will still be a fan. The constant is Anthony, Chad and Flea. There have been 6 different guitarists in this band.

This is for me the purest song-video they've done by far. You can watch lots of interviews where you can see them in tune and also the brotherhood between them. But this is something else. This transparency and family energy... As if there was no fence that separates them and us. Transmit a lot. It's like you can almost touch with your hands the bond they've got. The way they approach to the camera showing themselves as intimate, playful, joyful as It can possibly gets. I mean it's really difficult how to put into words how this song with this videoclip makes me feel everytime I come here and clic. But I love it. There's hope, and healing kinda of source full with love in it. I wonder If I'll have something similar with my friends once we grow older.
