@@senseidadproductionsniceee. Yeah, I strayed away from adhesive options just because of heat and time under the hood, but I bet they are fine. It’s the irrational fear in me 😆

Nice video, I was blessed that when I got my Tacoma it already had simlar lift shocks installed. Installed some on my wife's new Mazda last year, luckily the holes and slots were already there, so it was a quick install. Thank goodness for youtube DIY videos. Now there is one for Tacomas. Thanks again.

One point which bears repeating…be very careful when drilling the underside of hood. Drill could catch and pull through to dent the hood sheet metal. Thankfully, this did not happen to me, but I have heard it happening to others.

@@marko6128 easy does it. The drill DEFINITELY will like to pull through even if you’re not applying a lot of upward force. Great point!

I wonder if there is a clearance issue on the the redlines that offer 7 more inches for those who have ditch lights.

Why not just use the prop rod? Those struts will need to be replaced in a few years, unlike the stick, which will never need to be replaced.
