After installing the Hood QuickLIFT ELITE system on my 2009 Tacoma DLT (Dad's Last Truck, ordered new by Dad, to be taken care of by this dad for his kids), it looks like I'll be ordering this for a daughter's 2021 Ascent, with her assent, and my labor included. This is fantastic. The prop rod on a car that otherwise has so many premium features on the interior feels so cheap.

Every time I pop my hood, I'm surprised and disgusted that there is a prop rod on this particular vehicle. I'm glad there's a nice solution that should have never been an issue in the first place.
