I wanted to install one on my Trek, but now I'm having second thoughts because of concerns. The mounting points doesn't seem sturdy enough to hold the weight, force to open and close. Also, uneven distribution due to length and/or gas strut pressure.

Great video, order placed and product installed. The hood flexes a bit near the hinge when you push the hood down to close it, but it doesn’t seem to be causing any deformation. The lower fender strut mounts also rock back and forth and take some paint off. Otherwise it’s a really good kit!

Installed. I partially removed mudguards, worked my way behind the brackets and installed the nuts. I don't think it's necessary but I feel like I have to use it. Salamat bro.
