His father, the local Zamin, told him, if you convert, I will not give you a penny... he left his home, and went to serve local villages, and became a Christian. He later wrote off his wealth to his brother, and never took anything. His ancestral surname 'Valluri' is how we found our now distant relations, and pieced rest of the story. Long story short, whatever the reason for his choices, if my grandfather appreciated all the aspects of hindu philosophy, do you believe he would have converted? If he didn't believe all aspects of Hinduism, will he talk about it or not? You are thinking, the whole agenda of people changing religions is a war against another religion... no its a simple thing as being convinced of something else... like choosing veganism... maybe veganism is not right, but whoever changed to it, like it, believe in its benefits and now want you to benefit from their experience... Its as simple as that. There is no fight or war between religions... no one trying to convert another for making their religion superior... its just that one idea appealed to them better than the other.

Thanks for this video. Very educational. About two years ago just before Covid outbreak I visited Bhubaneswar and went to see an Asoka’s rock edict. It is on the banks of the Rushikulya river in the Malati Hill range. This is a detailed inscription carved on the rock in Asoka Brahmi. Next to the inscription is the face of an elephant carved on the rock. It seems to indicate that elephant was an important Buddhist symbol during Asoka’s time. The inscription is called Jaugada inscription and is well protected. Sadly the ancient elephant head is not protected. Odisha government tourist brochures also do not mention this historically important elephant head.

The earliest reference to Ganapati as the Lord of the ganas is in the Rig Veda (before 3000 BCE),1 where it is an epithet of Brihaspati2 and Indra,3 who are addressed as the Lord of the ganas. However, there is no indication whether that Ganapati had an elephant head. The Taittiriya Aranyaka (around 1500 BCE) refers to Dantin (the tusker) with the twisted trunk (vaktratunda) who holds a sheaf of corn, sugarcane and a club.4 This is Ganesha as we know him. Ganas are small hardy spirits, like yakshas. Ganesha as the lord of ganas was the lord of the spirit world whom he kept in check as Vigneshwara, who overcomes obstacles.

By all means educate about women freedom, literacy for all, equal opportunity for all by practicing first in your own party system (not by keep talking only about what happened 200 years before) and oppressing one community to raise other. Take CM’s family - Mrs Durga is a believer of God and chants Sanskrit - it takes courage for her to practice her own belief surrounded by Dravida kolgai. If CM can accommodate equality at home why he cannot practice the same equality in public and make his followers do the same. Live and Let others live. E ve ra though did fight for some good causes undeniably but he also set very poor example because of his own personal vendetta of personal experience he faced while he tried to lie to get food in Kaasi. As well as his rivalry with Rajaji even though both fought for untouchability together.

What is Social Justice? 1 Are MLA assembly tickets allowed only on the basis of caste? Is only OBC dominating 76 +% MLA seat equality? 2 is Only 5% representation of women in the assembly equality? Is agricultural women getting much lower minimum wages than men for the same job equality? Are very few women have the right to own agricultural lands equality? 3 Is only a few from the Powerful and rich families hereditarily inherit important top positions in the party and its business's equality? 4 Of the total 2.01 lakh fishing families, 91 percent are below the poverty line? 5 Is about 1.5 crore people (almost 20% of TN Population) living in unsanitary conditions in slums in Tamil Nadu? Who made this happen in the last 60 years. 6 Is targeting and demeaning particular community equality? Is this equality to bring up people of some communities suppressing others? It was the British and Caldwell who created those divides for their own benefit. In those times some people were not afraid to learn another language - English and British used them (irrespective of which community they belonged to) to communicate with the public putting them in administration (no one was stopped from learning English? in fact many were teachers- what are we doing now - stopping people from learning Hindi - and look at how many North Indians are in Tamil Nadu now - all construction, restaurant, textile laborers are from North, and we are saying we have high Unemployment - who's doing is this? This is fact of life - Migration will always happen. We need to embrace all and not separate North or South. Just treat humans as humans first without hatred. 7 While all the Party members owned private schools teach Hindi, German, French, and many other languages, restricting Government School students to only bilingual (Tamil and English) is social justice? 8 Is allowing only companies that are paying commission to politicians allowed to bid for Government Tenders democracy? 9 Is looting assets of 36,000+ Hindu Temples (land and other properties without showing any accounts and not doing any external audit) for purposes other than temple use in spite of Court ruling and not appointing trustees. 10. is running and controlling all key businesses using Caste Politics - Mining, Sand, Uazhavar Sandhai (Farming), Aavin (look at Amul cooperative how it is thriving whereas Aavin is losing money), Bricks manufacturing (with Bonded labors from North), Distilleries (supplying to TASMAC but 30000 crore TASMAC never made any profit only losses). 11. is Running all the PSUs (TANGEDCO, TAMIN, AAVIN, TNSTC) under huge losses by Mis Managing Recruitment, Illegal Procurement practices, giving Freebies to already rich to get Votebank) and making Tamil Nadu Finances with very high Debt equality?
