I finished the deck and the last Cedar beams support post today and now it's a ride to the local park for a well needed shower. Red, I wigged out for a second there when I saw that $122 gas price! Then you turned the pump on and it re-set... Whew!. You and your dad should rig up a kewl looking gas container to take with you on trips where you don't know how far you can make it before the next station... Maybe a little antique fire extinguisher bottle with a fender or swingarm mount and some of those cool quick detach brass buckles on a leather strap that you are running... Judging by some of those scenes, my guess is that you might have needed a little aloe vera sunburn relief! Your cheeks (and knee) were almost as red as that hair!

I'm with ya, girl. The biker community is few and far between. I've been riding solo for years and have just started riding with a few of my neighbors lately. They are good people, but I don't really consider them that community, yet!! Glad you had a good time. There is a little get together up in the smokies in Maggie Valley, NC, on the 29th. It's up near Wheels thru Time Museum. Should be a good time.

I'm with you on not being a fan of riding while the sun is beating down on everything! It was great seeing those old choppers! I just got a old 92 Fatboy that I absolutely love. I've only had it for a week, so we are getting to know one another. I loved seeing the other bikes that were there in the ride. Wooowooo Little Reds Express. It looked like you had a pretty nice ride. A lot of nice looking bikes. Went on a ride last weekend, well over 100 bikes and well over 100 miles. Every year they pick a different fire department to donate to. On the way home saw three deer and a Sand Hill Crane fly in between me and the guy I road with. Other than that no drama.
