These were all lovely. But I really loved the TicTacToe and the painted birds. But then those plain bunnies with just the sprigs were just so classic and simple. I have a big brick of DAS and I can't wait to tear into it. But I started an early spring cleaning/purge of my studio and have to extricate my desk which should happen tomorrow! I'm in the "looks worse before it gets better" stage of it. lol Thanks so much for sharing! Now I have more lovely motivation. 🥰

I could watch you create all day. I would love to try some of these projects but I have arthritis in my hands. It’s not real bad yet but some days repetitive motion does take its tole. But, with that said, I just may start a new project.😊

Can you make usable cat bowls out of this clay

I personally wouldn’t as air dry clay is for decorative purposes only and not food safe 🐱

I am making a mix media wooden box. On top I want a dragon eye out of clay. If using DAS air dry clay. How to attach to primed box. Will it last. You are the only person I have found that gives great explanation. Your work is beautiful. Thank you 😊

I hope to have a video answer this kind of question very soon, but I would make all the pieces and then glue them in place when dry, a white craft glue or super glue are both fine, but then varnish everything to seal it all together afterwards, let the glue dry fully first, if concerned always do a test piece first so you know how it will work out on your final more time laborious piece, have a fun, thanks 😊🌸💛

How to dry the clay ? Duration ?
@RedRockingBird4 ай бұрын
This air dry clay dries naturally in the air, best dried nice and slowly and not sped up by any heat source, to avoid cracking, before painting I like to leave mine to dry for 4 days to make 100% certain, but all depends on thickness and you will see it start dry well on the outside after 24 hours

Hi mam..i make airdry clay earring..i make the shape and leave it to dry 24 hours after I sand it and paint it,next I applied glase varnish after I leave it 24 hours mam..but these earrings are broking mam..i test that it's broking or not but it's broking mam..how to make without broking airdry clay earrings..please tell me mam.i want to start clay earring selling business..i want to give quality earrings on my future customers mam..
@RedRockingBird8 ай бұрын
Hi, it’s best to not go too thin so they are not weak and I find that a uv resin applied after drying and painting works best and gives strength. Alternatively polymer clay for earrings, best of luck
