Barry Beefcurtains I was more surprised that they didn't test straight propane. I'm not sure as to how popular it is worldwide, but I know that a lot of people here in America use it. Also, CO2 would have been interesting to see although probably unfair since everyone knows it lasts longer than green gas

I am being really torn with BBs. I have just upgraded to a tightbore barrel and I want a high quality BB bag. I watched some vids on Airsoft Surgeon bbs but i am not entirely convinced yet. Do you have anything else in mind? Would be a great help :)

Straight Propane out of a large can is the best by far. Tested them all and although "dry" its by far the best performing.

You dont need to, Redwolf Gas IS propane. It even says C3H8 on the ingredients section at the back of the can.

The only other ingredient noted down is silicone oil as lubricant, other than that it is just plain old propane out of a tank. In comparison, WE gas is CHz FCF3 CH3 which is Tetrafluoroethane, cheaper but as the tests showed, hardly consistent. One odd thing about Redwolf Gas is that the bottle states that it has an expiry date of 5 years, which is either complete bullshit or they are not telling us something about the ingredients, seeing as hydrocarbons formed millions of years ago out of dead organisms dont actually have an expiry date.

It was a real test. Click into the link in the description to see the raw data. You are also welcome to recreate this test on your own to confirm the data under the same test conditions using a TM Hi Capa. Airsoft Surgeon did come out on top in terms of performance and we reported the data as we collected it. No adjustments were made at all and you can see the shot-by-shot measurement in the video as we tested each gas through the chrono.

RedWolf Airsoft: Not saying that RWA gas is bad, Just saying that we should get someone else to do the same test JUST because the Airsoft Surgeon has "RedWolf airsoft" written all over it, therefore making this video seem like an advertisement. Still, I think that this gas is quite good and I recommend it.

I know red gas is for colder temperature..but will it ruin my gun if i shoot red gas on a hot day? (Just got my first gas blowback and having a hard time to decide what gas to buy) And how many mags can you load up with one bottle? Or how many shots are a bottle? Not sure whats the meassurement.

Would like to see the rigorous testing methods applied to various brands of BB in order to determine the most consistent brand, both in weight and diameter as well as surface. Good work. (Although I hear Airsoft Surgeon BB's are tremendously good - certainly as good as the Maruzen SGM's. If only there was a heavier weight than .3....)

I wonder which gas is best for keeping your gun in good condition. I have some pistols I wish to keep in good working order without damaging them, so I wonder which would be best for that purpose. Here in the states, the gas that we have the most access to is a relatively high pressure green gas, and I'm just worried about using it in my nicer guns.

Can we engineer a solution to use HPA with pistols and Rifle mags? As I understand it, the main problem of running HPA is that it's too high pressure for the tanks in the mags to handle.

HPA cannot be stored directly in a mag, it is much too high pressure and needs regulators to lower it to a usable pressure.

Buy a duster gas adaptor (they can be found in an airsoft Innovations propane adapter) and use computer duster (the one in the can that you use to blow out dust from a computer) that will reduce your power but it is enough to give you a respectable velocity and allow the gun to work perfectly fine just be sure to lube it because it doesn't have any silicone oil in it.

i personally use a co2 Umarex non blow back USP 45 fully licensed 360 fps consistent using .20 gram bb's i average about 75 shots out of 12 gram co2 cartridge which i pick up at big 5 for 10 bucks for 10 cartridge's

Well, I only can get Puff Dino and VGAS at my location. As my opinion, Puff Dino really performs better than VGAS at the FIRST TWO bottles which means its consistence will drop when u try the third bottles. So I always switch to VGAS after the Puff Dino. Again, as my own opinion and experience I think this method is pretty nice.

Its not a honest test, if you check the Intro you see Airsoft surgeon as one of the brands plus the fact they did a airsoft surgeon bb video and in the recent video`s with every gun test a bag of airsoft surgeon bbs is tucked in the background.. You are interested in WE Nuprol gas? X'D hahaha nice joke. No test needed. It's supposed to be a winter gas but is not efficient even at 15°C. It becomes efficient like another gas around 25°C. Tested in a stock WE hi-capa 5.1 M.
