Also if you eject like they did in the simulations while fighting the birds of prey, Romulins, then they would just be used as hostages, or killed. So playing it safe, or using other methods to win without losing the ship would be best. Also in the grand scheme of things, a warahip is worth much more than just one life

Eh, not exactly, this is a case of Star Trek's slightly messy continuity playing tricks on the viewer. In TOS, the Romulan ships were called Birds of Prey (and even had bird wings painted on them) and they were supposed to be the villains in the third Star Trek movie. With the model for the ship already build however, the script changed them to Klingon, which is why both Klingon and Romulan ships are called Birds of Prey and Warbirds depending slightly on era. It does make some sense though, as these are probably meant to be the names humans use to refer to them, and since they look alike, they use the names interchangeably.

I think in a deleted scene its revealed that the Kelvin ramming the Narada disabled it, allowing a Klingon patrol to capture the crew. They eventually staged a prison break, stole back their ship, and then destroyed the 47 Klingon ships that Uhura mentions in her intercepted distress call.

This movie has so many different problems one of them is when the ship is on the planet you we can see from one end to the other but according to the schematics of the size of the ship it's supposed to be miles long we wouldn't be able to see it so I guess on the planet it is smaller but when he gets the space that gets bigger kind of like a tardis or something

In these movies the explanation is that the first warp-capable ships were built in space but this meant they were not designed to take off in atmosphere. Which is why the Enterprise is built on the planet, so that the ship is able to land/take off from in inside an atmosphere.
