Reebok FLOATRIDE Energy 5: Update AFTER 100km/60mi

Here is my update review of the Reebok Floatride Energy 5 after 100km/60mi+ of running, using it as my daily trainer for 2024.

I loved the v3 of the RFE series, and to be fair, v5 is everything I wanted to see in terms of upgrades from that previous version. It has a slightly higher stack, more midsole, a slightly firmer foam and mild stability improvements. Therefore is it the perfect daily trainer? Not quite…..
I preferred the fun and enjoyment of the RFE v3, but this v5 is a much better all round shoe. It can do 5k-HM, easy to tempo and everything in between. It does pretty much everything pretty well and what more can you ask from a daily trainer?
For £85 RRP it is still one of the best bang for buck daily’s available and the fact it is always on discount makes it even better!
Would I recommend this to other runners……100%
