I love Raising Arizona because it’s basically a live action Warner Brothers cartoon. I grew up watching Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, Foghorn Leghorn, Wile E. Coyote & the Road Runner. All the absurd situations the characters find themselves in, the exaggerations of the characters & scenes, the chase scenes, the explosions & the happy ending where everything works out for the good guys are essential parts of the cartoons & the movie. Such a fun ride

The Lone Biker of the Apocalypse was played by Randall "Tex" Cobb, a boxer who fought Larry Holmes for the heavyweight title on Thanksgiving 1983. (Holmes slammed him all over the ring for 15 rounds, but couldn't knock him out.) He was also a kickboxer, and had several roles in movies and TV. He was intimidating as hell but actually an intelligent and decent man.

@@rocknroller77two movies that nearly no channels have reacted to: The Thin Red Line from 1998. A fantastic World War 2 movie set the Pacific Theater on the island of Guadalcanal. Star studded cast too. Many people agree that it is better than Saving Private Ryan. Casualties of War from 1989. A Vietnam War movie starring Sean Penn and Michael J. Fox(who is brilliant in one of his few dramatic roles). It a tough movie to watch at times and shows you the first casualty of war is innocence. The soundtrack alone will bring you to tears!

This film holds a special place in my family's heart. My older brother and I (not blood related) were both adopted (not stolen) at birth, and my parents saw this movie in theaters about 2 months before my brother was born. Perhaps for them, in the uncertainty of the looming prospect of becoming parents to a child they didn't conceive, it was some small comfort for them to see that even a highly disfunctional couple like H.I. and Ed were able to provide a loving (if not always stable) household to their adopted child.

When I was a sophomore at Vandy in Nashville circa 1993 we used to all hang out and "study" late into the night at the Perkins diner right off campus because you could keep the table as long as you ordered a steady stream of food. Randall Tex Cobb lived in the neighborhood I guess and was an almost nightly fixture at Perkins around 3 am. He was enormous, and usually very wasted drunk. The first time I saw him he busted in the mens room door like his character in Raising Arizona, and we were at adjacent urinals.

If I didn't watch this 100 times, it's close. I actually saw it in the theater the same year as MOONSTRUCK which is another great Nic Cage movie l recommend. That's the best a RomCom can be and his costar is Cher. My mom was a big Nic Cage fan. I feel like after this came out we said "Son, you got a panty on your head" for about 5 years straight. In fact, I've incorporated quite a few things into my permanent vocabulary like 'okay, then' and 'in the p.m.' instead of just saying pm. 😂 Everyone has their favorites but if someone tries to say this isn't in the top five comedies of all-time, I will fight them.

You might have to see more if you can't remember seeing him in anything much, he is, dare I say, iconic. Face/Off? Con Air?? National Treasure??? I'd seen him growing up in classic flicks for years but my fave was this. As a teen in the 80s intoroduced to Cave in his first role "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" this is my all time fave Cage & therefore my fave Coen Bros as well. Tex was a cool dude. It was a trip to hear my name called out in the local grocery store only to turn around & see my new friend Leonard Smalls!😅 He still boxed in smaller bouts at the time. I'd see him jog past my window every morning. He'd stop right in front of my window & punch the tree out front, smile then jog on. Poor tree!😅 Great flick! See ya!. ✌️🌎❤️

Fun facts: Holly Hunter and Frances McDormand, a Yale graduate, were roommates early in their careers in New York City. McDormand has won three Oscars and Hunter won one. McDormand has a master's degree in Fine Arts from Yale, as does Angela Bassett, Meryl Streep, Sigourney Weaver and Lupita Nyong'o. Some of our best actresses are also the most educated.

This movie reminds you of "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" because they were both written and directed by the Cohen brothers, as well as "Fargo".

Hey now LOL at the beginning when Asia was talking about she wouldn't go to an 80s movie..... That's where the genre of all the movies today stemmed from! Classics ❤

I find this movie to be virtually non-stop funny. It not just tossing out jokes rapid fire like Airplane or Naked Gun but still I just laugh pretty much all the way through.

Burn After Reading (2008), with Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Frances McDormand, and so many others you'll know, is my favorite Coen brothers movie. Everyone in it is so stupid, it's hilarious.

I'd LOVE to watch with you more Jim Carrey movies - Me, Myself & Irene, Yes Man, Fun with Dick and Jane - all funny, feel good films. Also another Farley Brothers movie (Dumb and Dumber) There's Something About Mary, with Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz, I think you'll like it. You're channel is one of my favorite btw, love your chemistry :)

The yodelling chase song was also used in the Johnny Depp animated film 'Rango' as an homage to this film. If you like animation, I recommend checking out 'Rango;' the animation is amazing, and the characters are like nothing you've seen.

Was rolling on the floor watching this. The part with Ed driving through the streets with the baby holding on to his hoodie cracks me up. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for doing this one.🤣🤣🤣

The Coen Brothers never cease to amaze me. Your next X amount of reactions should be Coen movies. We watched this so much as kids in the 80s that our parents got tired of it.

The Biker is played by, Randall "Tex" Cobb. He was a professional heavyweight boxer and kickboxer. A real tough S.O.B. with a granite chin and he's hilarious!
