the 3rd movie ties everything together its a great ending to a trilogy. It even has cool post credit scene. Pirates 4 and 5 are good movies not as great as the original 3 but still good.

The bearded guy from the first one , his name is Barbosa, he was jacks(captain) first mate until he started a mutiny and stole the black pearl from jack...tia dalma revived him after he died till you see him at the end..

Hi Ms. Asia And Mr. BJ ,My Mom used loves watching all 5 Pirates And The Caribbean movies. My Mom passed away in her sleep peacefully at the hospital on May 25th. It's my 1st time watching this movie by myself without her. She Loves Watching any Disney and Star Wars Movies she love all kind of movies Disney Star Wars Action Drama Comedy and Tyler Perry Madea Movies old classic movies. She's not a big fan of scary movies. Captain Jack Sparrow her Favorite Movie Character. I miss her so much😢

Fun fact when Jack Sparrow was singing 🎵 " I got a jar of dirt"🎵 johnny depp improvised that, you can see a slight look to the left that Orlando Bloom does to look at the camera crew, like "were still rolling?" Must do the third one, it wraps up this trilogy beautifully. And The ending scene with Barbosa was a surprise to everyone, so those were the actors real reactions, and the studio brought him back because the audience loved him from the first movie.

So glad you both enjoyed this movie just like the rest of us!! The ending when Barbossa comes back really was the most amazing way to end the movie. 🍿 No one was expecting it. Their reactions when they saw him was indeed real. The actors didn’t even know he was coming back for another film. That’s how you end the movie. I remember that line so well. “So what’s become of my ship,” and the music picks up pace in the background. Love it! Tuning in from So. Cal USA 🇺🇸 Take care and love the channel! The way they made the Pirates movies is INCREDIBLE. Props to the cast and crew cuz they really had to be wet like 99% of the time too lmao. Apparently Keira Knightly was also so great with the sword choreography that the stunt trainers were really impressed.

This by far is my favorite! The special effects were of the chain y'all! Okay, Barbosa is from the first movie. He and his crew were cursed, and in the end as soon the curse was lifted, Jack then shot Barbosa with his 1 remaining bullet. So you're seeing him basically reassure Ted at the very end of the 2nd one. You absolutely must now watch the third one, because all of this will be fully explained and make sense.😉

Jack killed Barbosa at the end of the first movie, as revenge for committing mutiny against him & stealing the Black Pearl. At the end of the 2nd movie, Barbosa appears as a confirmation that they can be brought back from the dead. Because he "knows those waters".

Of course you need to watch the 3rd! The compass did indeed sometimes point to Jack because she's attracted to him as well, so when she kissed him and left him to die she sort of resolved her situation. Watch her closely. She kept giving him stolen glances. So many little details when good actors are involved and Keira Knightley is a very good actor. You should see her acting mentally ill in "A Dangerous Method." Her acting is above and beyond in that one, though many people find the movie otherwise a bit dull.

I like the fan theory that this trilogy is about jack sparrow freeing slaves he was paid to transport... After having a change of heart, and releasing them, he was hunted and somehow killed and his shipped burned.. he then made a deal with Davey Jones to come back, and In return he' deliver 200 souls to Jones.. a promise he don't intend to keep..

When the commodore looked at the boat ans saw that there was sand OUT of the jar, he knew it had to have been dumped out for a reason. He guessed that Jack put the heart in, and he was right. We can see him swipe the heart out of the jar and put it in his shirt. Then he PRETENDS that he thinks it's still in the chest and runs away with the chest. The Black Pearl IS Jack's ship, yes. But remember in the first movie he was trying to get that ship back; Captain Barbossa was sailing it with the crew that mutinied against Jack. Ofc, Jack killed Barbossa at the end of the first movie and he got his ship back. So yes, the Black Pearl is Jack's ship, but in the last movie it was Barbossa's ship.

Captain Barbossa was very much dead at the end of the 1st movie as Jack stabbed him with a sword right after the curse was broken. He was resurrected by Tia Dalma, the voodoo priestess they visit at end of the movie. Her reasons for this will be revealed in the 3rd movie.

Random but have y'all ever played the computer game series Civilization? It's a civilization simulator that lets you control & build an empire through all of history. It's really immersive but also has a lot of great detailed history (famous generals, artists, scientists, engineers, ETC) for you to recruit for your empire.
