Nicole's accent is a weird fusion of a few accents, she doesn't sound Australian and some of her words sound like she is trying to sound Aussie but she doesn't. So Reece had no chance, but she did pretty well considering who she was impersonating - ie NOT AN AUSSIE ACCENT to start off with.

I don't agree that u have to watch movies in the cinema to enjoy movies. We all have bigger TVs in our homes these days that offer great picture quality and sound quality. It's also a lot cheaper for families to pay for streaming services. A family of 4 can get 6 months of Netflix for the same cost of 1 movie in a cinema. We all know Nicole is wealthy, but most families are struggling with the cost of living. Food, clothing, education, health, and other costs come first. By the time all that is paid for, there's not much money left over for most families. Most families can't even afford heating in winter or cooling in summer. These filthy rich Hollywood stars have no idea how the other half live, sigh.

As a Canadian who's lived in Australia for 50 years it's definitely not an Aussie accent - more a bastardised English accent. Aussie accents are almost impossible to mimic. Because I've lived here so long I'd get people on the fone saying to me - drop that foney American accent because I'm hybridised Australian and Canadian accent.

Australian accents do have what we call in America an English twang and to the untrained ear can sound English especially if its not a strong Australian accent and Nicole does not have a strong Australian accent. So Resse's accent isn't far off.

@@jayjae21jj I don't think it's a tired read. I get that Hollywood stars feel a lot of pressure to align with specific limiting beauty standards. But it is disappointing to see every single time when they give in to the pressure and let some hack demolish their features. It also sets a terrible example for everybody else and perpetuates absurd standards throughout society. You're human, you age, just go with it and celebrate it as much as you can, for the love of god. The irony is that the more you succumb to the pressure and indulge in surgeries and fillers, the more laser-focused attention you are inevitably drawing to your appearance. All that being said, I think she's a fantastic actress and a fabulous person.
