Welcome to Day 5 of "Kundalini Ascension: 30 Days to Inner Harmony." Today, we focus on Svadhisthana Chakra, the center associated with creativity, fluidity, and embracing change. This session is crafted to help you adapt to life's changes with grace and openness, unlocking your creative and emotional potential.
Today’s Practice Includes:
• Warm-up: Begin with 6 rounds of Surya Namaskar to stimulate and balance your energy, preparing your body and mind for deeper work.
• Kriya: Perform Frogs to activate and energize the Svadhisthana Chakra, enhancing your capacity for change and flexibility.
• Asanas: Engage in Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana to deepen your twist and stretch, followed by Shalabhasana to strengthen your back and promote resilience.
• Pranayama: Cool and calm your system with Shitali Pranayama, aiding in emotional regulation and soothing any heated emotions.
• Relaxation: Conclude with Savasana, allowing your body and mind to assimilate today's practice and reinforce your adaptability to change.

The last lesson heavily affected my dream last night - people and situations from really painful past memories showed up in new scenarios and I woke up feeling a sense of closure and revisiting the memories in a new light. Excited to dive into this one. Thanks for these valuable practices, Andrew and Clelia! Hopefully we'll meet at a retreat one day soon

Moving through my day after this practice, I felt a new sense of balance. My hips and low back didn't feel so "loosey goosey" I felt solid and strong. Thank you so much Mr. Andrew & team for this challenge 💙🤍🙏

Thank you. So rare to find such yoga style, I enjoy your classes such that I almost every morning start my day with a class of yours. This is a first that a posture really doesn’t work for me- the fists under the thighs. I found it quite painful for the fingers, thighs and uncomfortable with the hipbone. Any alternative suggestion for next time? I really appreciate all the content you share. Makes my morning practice doable and enjoyable.

Hello Aviv, thank you so much I'm so happy to know how much you've been enjoying my classes. It's an honor to get to share your mornings with you 🥰 Regarding Shalabhasana, with the fists under the body, as an alternative to having the palms facing down you can have the palms facing the body and fold your hands over the pubis. Think sort of like holding your genitals. This will give you greater support to lift the legs and should also be a little more comfortable as the hands are flat instead of in a fist shape. Hello, thank you! I'm in a period of liberation of past protection mechanisms, liberating wounds, figuring out unconscious patterns around me... I have a deep need to lay on the floor to let go, it's hard for me to do habitual yoga exercises... Would you have advices for me (exercises, how to manage this period...)? Thank you ❤👍

We actually have an entire program dedicated to exactly this process of healing wounds, releasing mental patterns and habits, obsessions and aversions, fears and compulsions, etc. All these things that come from wounded moments in our past. The course is called "Journey Through the Chakras | Transformation", and we focus on emotional release techniques, "shadow work", and other somatic practises for bringing up and releasing emotional blockages throughout the Chakra system, throughout each layer of our being. It's a very powerful process. And we've seen so many beautiful transformations result from our students who have gone through it. at 28:00 - palms are facing down? Mine aren't gonna unfortunately :D I didn't know the body is supposed to be able to move like that 😅

Maybe there was some confusion in the way that I taught it... If you stand in a normal position, with your arms hanging by your sides, naturally the palms will be in towards your body, thumbs will point forward and the little fingers will be towards your backside. From there, just externally rotated each hand outwards by 90°, so the thumbs are to the outside and little finger is in, towards the body. Now just rest that back of the hand on the thigh, and bring it into a fist. This is the same position as laying on your belly for Shalabhasana

@@RefeelYoga No you did explain well, and I actually find it quite easy to look and then copy the excercises from your videos. I tried it standing up and I can barely rotate my arm enough. I have to tense my muscles a lot to be able to stay in that position with both arms 😅 Well, I learned something about my body today
