I can no longer drink dairy milk, so I make hot chocolate with almond milk- it's quite delicious, especially with cinnamon. making it with coconut milk is also a nice treat.
@sunflowerbaby1853Ай бұрын
I no longer drink milk either, nor do I drink any type of alternative milk. No nut, soy or coconut milk. So it is not easy to figure out what to use as a substitute. I miss hot chocolate.😊
@hellegilbert3000Ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing. I have to use almond milk too.
@thebandplayedon..6145Ай бұрын
Hopefully you're making your own almond milk, the big brand names pre-made is NOT healthy with added, unnecessary ingredients. Just throw the nuts in a blender, add water, let sit and strain. Add sugar , spice etc if you wish.

Thanks for this. If you toast the coco, either in butter/oil or as a paste, you can get some more flavour out of it and it might mix in better too. Either way, starting with a little liquid makes incorporating the chocolate quicker.

Essential oils are NOT all food grade, as Refika says. Please use caution. If unsure, use natural commercial flavorings.

yes sometimes some oils are extracted using chemicals which may be inedible, toxic, or causes allergies. So yes best to use food grade flavorings!
