Its a sugar and fat that was in the chocolate, not oxalates. You breakdown them in your guts, there is really beneficial bacteria (oxalobacter) living in your guts, that if you feed it oxalates it releases beneficial compounds that protect your colon and the bacteria helps filter your blood of toxins and reduces the burden on kidneys by roughly 40%.

Yeah but most likely to harm you food is definitely not raw cocoa or spinach. And spinach is high in oxalate too. If your body can break down oxalate it’s not a large concern compared to high amounts of sugar etc. however. I went on his website and he’s selling cacao powder for 40$ a bag, so maybe he’s exaggerating the benefits of cacao vs the risk.

Yeah this is a major negative for anybody who already has or is prone to kidney stones. Can offset this by using milk chocolate since the calcium in the milk will bind a lot of the oxalate and make it non-absorbable.

One serving is about 40 mg of oxalates and typically people can handle 200 mg per day according to ai. Also pairing with milk reduces oxalate absorption. I just read Toxic superfoods so this comment interested me 😊

Idk whats the cost of all the tests he does for cocoa, so idk if 40 dollars is a justified price for all that (very high price but may be justified), but his olive oil price is pure bullshit. "Bbbut he is actually producing quality oil". Price of olive oil that recieves rewards for its taste and im 99% sure is better than his, is around 20 euros. Not in a supermarket of course, but my point is that ive been on his site to check the cocoa out and after seeing the olive oil price im repulsed. Thats like a wine that somebody made and swears is good costs significantly more than wines from renown wineyards.

A note for the editor: don't put the meme clip as same as what Bryan is saying. Sounds Monotonous. What you could have done in 1:37 is cut the sentence "no guarantee" from Bryan's part and then put the extra clip for a more smooth trasition✨.

I'm enjoying the more light-hearted approach Bryan and his team are taking. I liked Bryan's message even at the start of Blueprint, but the vibe was so serious. Every interview was serious and I think this fun approach engages a larger audience and makes Bryan more likeable in the eyes of those who would normally have brushed him off. A little humor and self-deprecation goes a long way. Keep up the great work!

@@hbbstn You don't have to be a millionaire to be able to afford $62 CAD a month. However, the entire protocol costs a little over 1600 USD per month... But it will probably become much cheaper with larger quantities in the future.

@@fabianschrotter true, although 1600 USD is still a LOT for “food” but this is the best quality in the world so it’s understandable. Although it is still very expensive, hopefully things get more affordable and in that time, I would definitely be richer.

I'm very strict about what I eat and mostly vegan. I eat 72% dark chocolate (Made in France) a few times per week. It is processed and contains some sweetener, but is much better than most store-bought chocolate. The final scene in this video showing him trying to snort lines of cocoa powder was hilarious. Bryan has a great sense of humor and is very relatable.

Chocolate is highly addictive and causes a similar dopamine spike above baseline similar to nicotine. Just because something has some nutrition on paper doesnt mean it should be consumed regualry or consumed at all for that matter. Eating whole nutritious foods is all you need, no need to complicate it and careful who you get your info from.

Sugar is addictive while Chocolate is not. Have 95% and 99% dark chocolate. They will be sweet only if you quit sugar. Otherwise, it will taste bitter because your sensitivity to sugar is very low

I'm delighted to have discovered your KZbin channel! I stumbled upon it while waiting for my annual health screening, which was sponsored by my employer (Big Pharma Company). As I sat in the waiting room, I was going through my work emails and checking my schedule for the day when I received a video notification from Will Tennyson. The video, titled 'I Tried Bryan Johnson's $2,000,000 Anti-Aging Routine,' was absolutely fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It made me reflect on my own commitment to living a healthy lifestyle and made me realize that I need to reassess whether I am truly living up to my mindset. I'm incredibly enthusiastic about the idea of living until 101 years old, just like my Grandma, Abuelita, did. Your channel has been invaluable in providing me with healthy tips, longevity hacks, and habits. Thank you so much for sharing all this valuable information! I will research the Blueprint products (cocoa and nutty pudding...I am sold). Be blessed Y'all, Yana!
