I love your channel because I am a vegetarian foodie, I love Turkish food (have been to Turkey, Istanbul only unfortunately), gained 2 kilos in a week eating non-stop. I make Imam Bayildi and hummus often, I love falafel but haven't made it in a long time. Your channel is really inspiring also because you do it with so much love, passion and enthusiasm! Btw, I am Indonesian, brought up in Europe so love many different cuisines, but Turkish is definitely one of my favourites. One day I wanted to cook one of the dishes she showed there and that's how I discovered her youtube channel! Why do I love Rafika's Kitchen? I've cooked my whole life, mostly American and Italian foods. As the years have passed making the same dishes, cooking had become a chore more than a pleasure. I was looking to add some new recipes but I wanted dishes that were unlike anything I've cooked in the past. I came across your channel and tried my first recipe (hummus). I was hooked. So after getting my pantry up to speed with what I needed to make all of your recipes, I went to work and I've never looked back. The BEST thing though, is that not only are your recipes different, they are all delicious! Really, I've not had a single recipe I wouldn't make again. My favorite has to be "Rafika's Hammered Beef". Damn that's good!

I’ve eliminated oils from my diet so I will try and modifié some recipes and let you know how they turned out. Thank you and keep making and educating us all. Not only do you explain them, but you also give measurements!!!🤯 Anyone who tries to replicate “mom’s” recipe can never do so because they eyeball (goz Ayar) everything 😫 “You’ll know when it’s enough” or “add some but not too much”🤦🏻‍♀️ Very frustrating.
