Hi Jose, just getting started with my pro 10. Do you have a video that discusses where to get the refill ink? Thanks for the videos.

Thank you for another very informative video, my Pro-10 and I will definitely benefit. Love your tie-dye t-shirt, you just need to add "Happy Printing Everybody!" to the front.

The shirt was made by my grandson. He made one for him and me. So we look like twins. I already have t-shirts with key phrase. They are for sale in T Spring. You can see them when you view a video on most browsers.

Hi Jose. Thanks so much for the videos. Do you have recommendation for the type of syringes to use? Also where can I buy all colors in bulk? Any links provided in description no longer have all colors available. Pixma 10 pro User of pgi72. Thank you!

Hi Jose, I have been looking for the Canon PRO-10. Is this the same as the Canon PRO-10S. I have looked on Canon.com and I cannot see the Canon PRO-10 but can only see the Canon PRO-10S. Is this an updated version of the PRO-10. Thanks

Hi Jose. Ive been hanging onto my carts for a few months until the final last few run empty to complete the set, then i will begin my refilling. The empty carts have not been flushed, should I do this prior to storing them?? I'm referring to PGI-72 carts.

Hi Jose, Thanks for all the videos. Can you tell me how much an empty Canon Pro 10 Cartridge weighs? Thanks again for all the advice.
@cheo19494 жыл бұрын
About 18.5 grams and 32-33 full. Without the orange clip.

@@cheo1949 Thank you again for all the info. If I have cartridges at about 20 grams is it ok to go ahead and start adding PC inks? (I know you answered that in another video but not sure where to look) If I keep one set of OEM inks is it a problem to switch back to them for a few prints that I provide to a customer and then back to the PC inks for general printing? Have a great day and thanks.
@cheo19494 жыл бұрын
Yes no problem whatsoever go ahead and reset them and then top them off with a Precision colors ink

Mr. Rodriguez, do I need to change the whole set of cartridges when I ran out of ink in one cartridge for Canon Pixma pro-10?
@cheo19494 жыл бұрын
No. Both when you are still using original inks. This practice only applies IF you are refilling and have two sets of cartridges to work with.

Hi, Jose, A couple of questions regarding refilling. My current technique is to swap all the carts out when one is empty or low ink---I have a set ready to go. Do you aspirate all of the ink in the partially used cartridges before you refill, or, do you just refill up to about 32? My low ink carts usually weigh about 19+ gms, but the partially filled ones can be 24-25 grams. I will just top those off to ~~32. Is that ok? Second, when I reset the carts with the PCI device, it seems that resetting works even with a fully refilled cart, though that can be a messy way of doing it. Is there a technical reason to do it before refilling, and must the cart be completely empty before performing? Thanks BTW, WD40 removes spilled ink
@cheo19492 жыл бұрын
No need to aspirate. Just top off to 32 grams. If you can not reach 32cgrams you have air in the ink bladder. Squeeze the cart sides and you will see foam exiting the ink port. Relax and add a bit more ink. Repeat until you reach a 32 gram weight. I have never had air infiltrate except on empties where the use threw out the orange clip. Always put the orange clip on when you remove a set of carts for resetting and refilling.

@@cheo1949 thanks! Is it just for "neatness" that the cart is reset before refilled, or some other reason?

URGENT! Could use your input.. purchasing a used Pro 10 that has been sitting for a few years. It has OEM cartridges installed. Curious if im able to flush those and still refill, or am I screwed and have to buy a new OEM set?
@cheo1949 Жыл бұрын
Agitate each carts thoroughly. Then use.

@@cheo1949 Thanks for the reply Jose! I referred to your flush and refill video you put out for the Pro 10. You had mentioned possible availability of the modified orange clip for the syringe... Where could I find that? Do you sell them? Can you source one? I've clicked through all the links in the description with no luck. It seems the links to you merch and products aren't working either. Just takes me to Homestead hosting site. If you can source (or tell me where) an orange syringe tip clip for me, it would be a game changer. Much needed to get this Pro 10 up and running as it should! Thank you for your seemingly endless wealth of printer knowledge. 🙏

Jose, your previous syringe method (quick method with cap) is not as reliable?

Sure. If you have a homemade adapter. I don't ever use it as I can refill in about 30 seconds with a squeeze bother and needle.

Hi Jose, I’ve refilled and installed two sets of PC SE inks already, and I am thrilled with the results. No problems so far and using the custom profile you made for my printer/ink combination. The only minor problem was that some of the needles must be clogged (maybe 2 of them) because they dripped slowly while I was refilling, even though I carefully washed them out after the first use. I’m guessing trying to pass alcohol through them would take care of the problem. What do you think? When I expressed my concern about getting air in the cartridges to Mike (is that his name?) at PC told me eventually I’ll have to suck the air out. Does that always happen? So far no problems with excess air.
@cheo19494 жыл бұрын
I assume you are talking about the PRO-10. You should have gotten the squeeze bottles instead. You never need to clean anything! You can soak them in Windex for a few minutes and flush them out.
@neimanfarkus97084 жыл бұрын
I did get the squeeze bottles. I’ll try the Windex, thank you.

You know I've never had a problem with my needles clogging up even if I do not put the little scabard on them Do you live in a dry environment?
@neimanfarkus97084 жыл бұрын
It’s dry in that it’s winter and no humidifier. Leave it to me to be the one who gets clogged needles.

The instructions show to clear the tips. This is due to break in of the scabbard tip. Please reread the instructions and all it takes is a flame.
