Took off my stock y8 headers for ebay headers. Definitely putting the y8 headers back on because the y8 headers has a bolt down brace. Ebay headers does not. I read over time if the hearders to down pipe isn't bolted down there's a possibility it could warp the head. I sure appreciate the videos that come out to teach us. Nice sound by the way :)

Should have went with the 99-00 version. It's a tubular 4-2-1 design and looks like a header with the shield off. I gave one on my d15b and it was a nice upgrade over the 4-1 stock manifold that was on there before.

I would never put a gasket between the manifold and B pipe.....That's why Honda put those two metal ring gaskets there. I did this same swap on my DX. Best upgrade in my opinion. Had to put a cat on tho as I live in California.

I have the MagnaFlow 448034 supossed to be the heavy duty of the 408034 cathalitic converter (CARB approved of course) original resonator and a mild MagnaFlow exhaust muffler on my Ej8 I love it.. Thinking on swap a b18c with the tegra automatic transmission into. But I'm not sure if the Ej8 automatic ecu can control a S4XA. But anyways I have a B18b1 with a S80 transmission with Type R internals except LSD. And a S4XA. And the p75-a54 and the S4XA computer. My Chihuahua hates manual transmissions because she can't ride on my lap.

Starting out, I would say any 92-95 or 96-00 Civics, if you can get the Si model also the best. performance. The 88-91 civics are good but its harder to find parts. Also if you plan on modifying the engine get a Civic that is OBD1. This civic is OBDII which is fine but its want to throw more CEL codes

Is that intake manifold off an automatic y8? It has the iacv ports blocked off.

Have u heard of the spark plug defouler trick? You had that to the tip of the o2 sensor and it tricks the computer into thinking everything is normal

Dude! Between the Header and Downpipe comes only the two O-Rings! Nothing the big silver Gasket. And you need a other Downpipe Braket.
