Every once in awhile, I like to go back and look at old journals from years ago to see what I was doing at a specific time. I found an entry from 2010 that made me realize just how far I've come on the mental health front. I feel like being happy for other people is the only “happy” I feel lately. 2012 me was not yet destroyed by all my dad’s problems. I feel like I’ve been pulled back into the hole I just climbed out of and I can never seem to get out. My MO when I get really down is to go radio silent and not bother people with it, because the prevailing response is people pull away. I hate it. But I’m so glad things got better for you. I know I told you a lot back then that it would happen and you’ll find the one, and look at you now! ❤
