I am not a big pedal guy. But, I really like this pedal. This, along with a good overdrive, would be all the pedals I would ever need.

Hate to say this but the Fender Pugilist is an amazing pedal that will cover that overdrive pedal slot nicely. No I don't work for Fender.
@Walks-With-Pride5 жыл бұрын
@@clamus68 Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out. Although, I have owned numerous pedals over the years, there have been only a few that have impressed me. In the '80s I had a guitar processor known as the Korg A3. I have never found anything that could top that. The Edge from U2 is also a big fan of the A3. I heard rumors that he has three or four A3s in his rack. I now use a Boss GT-100, which gives me the sound I like, except for overdrive. I am still looking for that special smooth, creamy overdrive sound that I so desperately want to emulate. I have never heard of the Pugilist, but I will definitely give it a try. Thanks again!

I have a tube tape echo. And that tape effect on the pedal is amazing. It's the details that get me. Just listen to how warm the repeats are and how they trail off. I've listened to that intro a few times now and am really impressed. It is a marvel of engineering.

OK, I HAVE TO have this. It's just a few weeks of eating rice and leaving the AC off until 6. Totally worth it. I think this might be the perfect pedal. You don't want to over-do a pedal and give it a bunch of features that can't be used simultaneously. This thing gives you a lot of control of reverb and delay modeling, with discreet footswitch control. This is basically a full-featured Fender Marine Layer Reverb Pedal added onto a delay pedal that is superior to the Fender Mirror Image pedal. The only improvement I would make, is to replace the tap footswitch with a footswitch for some of those effects that are operated by knob-switches, and I'd get rid of one or two of those switches and replace with a pair or trio of dials.

When changing the main delay divisions, do you have to hold the tap tempo down, change the div, then retap the tempo every time? Or once you have a tempo tapped in, can you quickly change divs ie dotted eighth to quarter by turning the knob?

Ty so much for doing this video. I am a bit of a slow learner & having access to this video has helped me understand this pedal so much better. The more & more I've used this pedal, the more & more ideas just continue to flow out of me. Is there any way you could do another video on this pedal & the Pinwheel Rotary speaker emulator as well. I'm just interested in how you've designed these pedals to function in stereo. I believe it would be most beneficial to have an inside look, at how you originally expected these pedals to function & sound in stereo. Anyways you all have done a wonderful job at all the new pedals & amps & guitars. I am sure that Leo would be very proud now at how you've not only continued his legacy, but you're also improving upon player requests. From what I've read it seems that's how he originally intended his business to function at it's best.
