I love that you all explain that pleasure doesn't necessarily have to be physical, but something simple as drinking tea from a real mug or looking at flowers or a bath.

I was very moved by this video because it resonates so deeply with what I am most passionate about. I love nothing more than supporting people, especially women to be happier, successful and more fulfilled. My mantra to my students is, "Happy people don't hurt other people." If we can all learn to love ourselves enough to create lives we actually enjoy living, this world becomes a much better place.

I went about the first 22-23 years of my life seeing brothers in the eyes of men, and "others" in the eyes of women. Society taught me that manhood was the key to my freedom, and women were my competitors. None of this was true. I'm not quite there yet, but one day I hope to be able to look everyone in the eye and think 'brother', 'sister', 'lover', 'teacher', or 'friend'.

I have just started reading "Pussy" and I have never felt more understood and represented in my LIFE. I have been through some horrendously difficult and challenging times and emotionally charged situations in my life (that still linger and leave a scar), and because my heart is so open to making sure everyone else is OK, I have spent YEARS now missing out on my own pleasure on SO many levels, but desperately trying to funnel it into what I would consider "safe" and "acceptable" ways i.e. through my creativity and my singing and recording my music. But now my health is suffering (especially my throat Chakra) and I just instinctively KNOW that it is because I have been denying myself my true authentic self and igniting my own deep desires. I don't want to live like this anymore. Regena is a goddess of the pleasure revolution and although I am scared and still trying to find my footing in how to approach this and apply these principles FULLY in my own life and current situations, I have never felt more excited nor stimulated as a woman to reclaim my rightful position on my Queen throne of DIVINE FEMININE POWER!!!!! Loved this interview - many thanks and blessings to you both, and it's now my dream to attend Regena's workshop! X

I soooo did not want this interview to end. This one is so relevant today. A huge insight I am taking away from this is to question and let go of limiting beliefs that are based on devaluing my femininity and that of others. We truly are stronger together. I also want to add this is a great lesson for men as well. So many men devalue their own femininity as well in fears that they will be seen as weak. I am definitely buying Regena's book :)

Great interview! The insight I got from this is a reminder to MAKE the time to do things that are fun and joyful and make them a priority. I have been living in my masculine power for as long as I know. Trying to 'be successful' 'work hard' 'never give up' 'strive' 'drive myself hard' 'never appear weak or vulnerable'. Now I am learning to let go of it all... Be vulnerable, show my emotions and try and show others it's ok to talk about them and be vulnerable. After all that's what makes us human, especially as women. We are moving so far away from our true nature which is sensitive, loving, calm, kind, gentle. But instead we are trying to be these tough, strong, hard working, put together, emotionless women who workout, have a business, run a family, are sooo busy (which seems to be something we say to make us feel important). I've started a channel journaling my meditations and being really open and honest about what comes up for me. I'm tried of hiding my feelings and lying to myself. It's really freeing to just sit and feel and face yourself, painful at first but once you feel the pain and the message it's freeing for sure.

I'm a man who hold mostly the qualities you've talked about. I find it's been very hard to own these and step into my vulnerability. Also i tend to get upset with myself for not having that drive to succeed and make money that seems to be a masculine quality. I'd love to shift to be more open and vulnerable while are the same time have success of my own. I know this is a twist on what this video was about but I'd love your opinions on it.
@foreverstrong52888 жыл бұрын
Hi Christopher, Your comment caught my attention. When people refer to masculine and feminine qualities, they don't mean that these are gender specific. You could be a man with strong feminine energy, or a woman with strong masculine energy. Own what you are. Also, there's this book that illustrates this point perfectly called the Bingo theory by Mimi Ikonn. Check it out!
@sonne23518 жыл бұрын
Vulnerability is something both men and women struggle with! A very common misconception is that women can express and show their feelings better than men big BS! What is really expressed here is this: women express their pain (emotions) through tears which somehow got translated into = to vulnerability. Although tears are a form they are not the end all be all to expressing vulnerability.Men just express their feeling/emotions differently; very often through anger expressed through physical or verbal .... My personal opinion take on this/ in our society we have become such 'experts' at stereotyping and wanting to fit in that we have no time for independent thoughts and assessments! And here is the key >>> if we don't take the time to thoroughly understand the other person in front of us it is like dismissing them! So subtle but huge impact hence it is very tragic when it is not identified!!!!!! When you dismiss someone they internalize this and next time they don't express themselves fully because of the prior experience and by this individuals withdraw from society mentally. Then it is just a matter of time until they follow up with physical isolation >>>> depression which is growing at alarming rate in our society!

Thank you Marie and Regena. What I took from this is that I need to see you be blazinginly beautiful so you can open that portal in me! I love this. It seems to be that we live in an instaculture of female jealousy. Thank you for explaining why it matters that we women should not be jealous of each other! It's a little off-topic but I feel that my lack of confrontation skills (I tend to run inside myself and lock the door) stems from the beliefs that 1. I shouldn't/don't deserve to fight for better treatment/pay/acknowledgment at my desk job or etc. and 2. if I speak up, I won't have the conviction it takes to create necessary change, at least when met with adversity. Helping others create a better life for themselves is a calling I love and excel in, but when I'm in the front lines, I lose my voice completely. I'm going to try to work on seeing my relationships with friends differently and can already see the competitive nature with most of my female friends. Thank you for the video; it started a good chain reaction of thoughts to improve friendships and conflict resolution, even if it was a tangent my mind went with :)

No. No, no, no and no. I do live in peace with my femininity. That's for start. And I agree with some stuff being said in this video, like we tend to ignore our exhaustion for serving others - our family. We tend to care more for family than ourselves. And simple answer for that is Learn to love yourself women! It is not mens fault that we do care for them. If we happend to chose a man who doesn't know how to appretiate a womens gifts, then I am sorry, but you gotta teach him that or choose a different man for life. Feminine and masculine should learn how to cooperate, but anytime I hear a interview like this, I feel like women now blaming men for the whole situation as it is now. Oh excuse me ladies, but we did let the power go and forgot that we have it. Sooo many women today don't even know what is their real power, but they are thought that they have to push hard because they are not equal to men, instead of teaching little girls about the power of their femininity and how it goes well with masculinity... Today it's just about bad patriarchy and poor women who just don't get a chance. Stop crying about the situation and bring some usefull ways how to cooperate so both masculine and feminine are happy to live in the same world. I would be very very glad if someone finally got to the point instead of feeling oppressed. I am trying to find an inspiration in older women as I think they could have the wisdom.. but not much success so far. Oh yeah and if women hate each other, its not because of patriarchy for god sake, it's because of their (our) own insecurities. Again.. LEARN TO LOVE YOURSELF.. so you don't get jealouse or envy and hatefull

I really like the importance of sisterhood that is mentioned, but it's hard to keep an open heart to your sisters when they look at you with a stink eye. This afternoon I went to have coffee somewhere and I made an effort to look nice as a celebration and empowerment and it was easy to smile at men and get friendly reactions back but when I left the establishment a woman was leaving right in front of me, holding the door open. I said 'Thank you' and gave her the same generous smile I gave the men but I got a stink eye from her, checking my coat and headband out. It still takes me by surprise. It's almost as if you need to be prepared to get the stink eye and keep on beaming sisterhood and connection out to them regardless.

@mpshilpa8 жыл бұрын
Oh dear! it is not just middle east or India. Women in America (born and raised there) are subject to such kind of issues as much as women in other parts of the world, except that the degree may vary.

I love this conversation, but I disagree a little bit. I am a proud feminist (yes, hate all you want) and I absolutely agree that a more balance world is needed and we need more feminine energy. I also agree that this imbalance affects more women in a world "created" for men. However, I feel like calling it out as the thing missing in every woman's life is a bit wrong. I personally know woman who thrive in masculine environments and much prefer them to more balanced ones. I also know men who are more feminine (regardless of their sexual orientation). And while there needs to be a conversation as far femininity goes and what we associate with it, putting men and women in different boxes when we do it can be a harmful think. Some people might even argue that are more than two boxes.
