We are currently on vacation, but when I saw the Sydnie Christmas reactions were able to be posted I had to get on it. 'Over The Rainbow' + the finale will be posted shortly after this goes live. Check the channel to see that one as well. Much love to you all from us friends 💚💜

Thanks for fighting the copyright battle and getting this one posted. Sydnie is incredible and I’ve watched dozens of reaction shows with her, and y’all have the most wonderful reactions and seem as down to earth as she is. Can’t wait to see “Over the Rainbow” ❤️❤️

At 81, I've seen many, many singing performances on talent shows. For me, this is the Best Ever!! I've seen/listened to it over 50 times now, and it gets me every time. Absolutely STUNNING!!!! Spoiler: In the 17 years of BGT, Sydnie became the first female vocalist to win, getting almost 30% of the votes in the 11 acts Finale. She is a voice for the ages. Love you guys. 💕💕

This Semi-Final performance is my most faved on her journey. I was caught unprepared of her range and the beauty of her voice. Thank you once again Mike and Jess. Beautiful, authentic and pure reaction from both of you. Love you both already.

Everything about Sydnie and her performance of My Way here is perfect - her commanding stage presence with self-assured bearing and stance, her expressive face and theatrical eyes, her impeccably applied and subtle make-up, her stylish and businesslike black attire and tied-back hairstyle, her sparkling chandelier earrings complemented superbly by the sparkling mike and stand; oh, and the stunning dynamics, impeccable clarity and overwhelming emotional charge of her supremely exquisite singing. Every aspect of Sydnie and her performance here is perfect, but the package as a whole far, far exceeds the sum of its perfect parts.

I am an 82 year old romantic, and this singer rocks my boat!!! Such a wonderful talent. I am also most happy to see the way you show on the screen. You two sit in your easy chairs and move to the lower corner of the screen, and then allow the artist the rest of the screen. Most other reviewers or reactionaries keep their faces as the biggest part of the screen and the artist is in the corner. You understand who is important. Thanks so much!

Her story as told by her song choices and arrangements is an evolutionary one. In "Tomorrow" she reworks the song from optimism to despair, to reflect her own trials as an aspiring West End singer without much success: she changes "only" to "always" and then uses her stage presence and musicality in the last verse to reflect failure. Her second song, "My Way," shouts defiance at the theatre world, defiance even in failure. "Over the Rainbow" is a trumpet of triumph, as she senses from her auditions and performances that she will be a glorious performer, not as characters in west end shows, but as herself, Sydnie Christmas, on the concert stage. It took this "last ditch" effort to save her musical career to perform as herself that is just so revealing of her immense talent.

In 55 yrs, Since 1969, Mr. Sinatra Has Never Had Anyone Who Could Touch That Song The Way He Sang it. There Has Never Been A Contender For The Baton To Be Handed Over. It's Now 2024 And Sydnie, I Honestly Think That Baton Has Now Been Passed To You. That Performance Was Absolutely Incredible.

I was a big fan of Sinatra singing this . When I heard this by Sydney I googled the Sinatra version and it sounded flat compared to her. If you do it you will also notice how good she is.

Another spectacular version of "My Way" by a female: Shirley Bassey. And Sydnie has a lot of the Shirley Bassey feel in songs like this.

I am a huge fan from the moment I saw her golden buzzer on my FB feed ( 30 min after it was released I think) ..I am in Texas, I don't watch BGT for cryin' out loud! I followed her all the way...was not surprised she won! I have watched every review I can find...and no matter of race..gender...age...music genre...everyone has had pretty much the same responses (which says so much)..everyone sees her talent..loves her personality...got chills..shed tears..that many of us cannot be wrong! thanks for posting her channel..I subsrcibed (of course I did!) ♥ can't wait to see all the blessings that she deserves come her way...and seriously hope it does not change her...she is so adorable!

I've watched Sidney singing this around 20 times. It's fantastic, now she has the job she always wanted and is on the stage in the Westend of London, plus a record deal, she is fantastic, she reminds me of Morissette Amon although she never won, she never gave up, her voice reminds me of Shirley Bassie in her prime, again fantastic. 😊

I am 60 years old, i have heard many people cover this song, The best i ever heard from a male cocal was robbie williams, when he did his swing concert, a throw back to the rat pack, with mr bo jangles and the likes and my way at the end, This is probably on the female side, singing what wassung by a male artist, this is the best i ever heard from a female, i mean that in the best possible way, because male and female voices are different, this was stunning beyound words

I’ve never heard this lady sing before, and she was nothing short of amazing, but I would have thought she took her inspiration from Welsh songstress Dame Shirley Bassey who has covered this song many times in her luscious career, SB is the only woman to have done 3 Bond movie themes. I am "collecting" the adjectives I hear in the reactions to the interpretations of Sydnie Christmas. And there are a lot of them! And also the names her voice recalls - Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Shirley Bassey, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion and more! Today I saw an interview with her on the Student Pages podcast where I learned a lot about her past, present and future. I recommend. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5rdp419f7B6eaM

You missed one male performer, the writer of the song and teen heartthrob Paul Anka, who every labor day rewrote the words for the Jerry Lewis telethon. Also, Sydnie has a new studio song...a lyric video to Starlight Express by Andrew Lloyd Webber, maybe a performance vid if you can find it. She also sang Somebody to Love in We Will Rock You, a totally awful musical, but nobody cares because it is two hours of theater kids singing Queen songs.
