Her song choice was also really ballsy. She took songs that EVERYONE knows and has a favorite version of (or hates). She set a super-high standard, and then she blew right past it. And that's amazing. What a talent.

When it comes to this performance I think the audience reaction says it all. I have never heard a reaction quite like that on any talent show I have ever watched. So well deserved. Just as a side note the guy that finished second was an unbelievably talented magician who totally deserved his spot in the final two.

I don't understand all the keyboard warriors attacking because she's a professional.. She's not a recognisable name for starters, most of these acts get paid for their act in real life anyway and quite a few tour the globe appearing on multiple countries Got Talent shows.. This woman deserves global recognition, her voice is a gift that needs to be heard and the fact she is so humble is inspirational in a world that is too dark for the majority of the time.

I always argued that a couple of gigs on a cruise ship doesn't make you a professional, in my opinion. A professional uses that profession to make a living. She was working at a gym and therefore not a "professional" singer

Now she is moving in to professional circles, at last, with concerts lined up now for Oct and Dec & Jan. Her new single, released ten days ago by invitation of Andrew Lloyd Webber, is Starlight Express, too.

Yea I could care less wherever she sang or done. Millions of people have never heard of me included and when I did. I was blown away. I am not well off by any means and I’m weighing to Goto London to just goto her concert. She sings like an Angel. You feel emotional when she sings. No one has ever done that. Best singer I have ever heard and could care less what she did before she needs to be bigger than Taylor Swift

This young lady has it all,the voice, the looks, the stage presence. The sad truth is her style isn't popular anymore. When I was young in the 60s. Theater soundtracks were so popular. Today people don't recognize true talent. Someone who CAN sing. I hope she achieves her dream and find fame on the stage where she belongs. The day's of Streisand, Dion and even Whitney Houston. Talents that captivated with their vocal talents don't make the charts. I wish her all the best. A true Cinderella story.

Don't hold it against the reactors who don't do this. We will always take longer to put out our reactions because of the battle we go through showing the video the way we do. It's a give and a take. Other reactors who alter the screen are able to share their reactions immediately

She's certainly the best singer I've ever seen on any of these competition shows. In my estimation I think she is in the same class as greats like Aretha Franklin and Tom Jones. Just an incredible performer and human being. I absolutely love her. ❤❤

I recently watched an interview with her and she said she absolutely hated this performance and cannot watch it. Are you kidding me girl? 🙀🙀 since discovering her I have watched her videos, with reactors and without reactors so many times I couldn’t even tell you. I love your reactions so far. Shared Sydnie’s journey with both of you, starting with her first audition song of “Tomorrow”, through “My Way” and climaxing with her rendition of “Somewhere over the rainbow”. Love your genuine and heartfelt reactions most of all. Totally understood what you meant by the emotional investment of covering the rollercoaster journeys of these participants in AGT/BGT, but the emotional redemption you reap when someone as deserving as Sydnie wins, it almost feels like it is worth it.

Thank you for a great reaction from both of you. When I first saw Sydnie and then started following her, I said she is so unique and so talented that I thought she's better than Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, etc. overall! I've never heard or experienced such emotion over and over again. I cry every time I hear Tomorrow, and I think I have listened to that one about 24 times.

She is amazing. I watched an interview she did recently and she stated that she hasn't watched this performance because she thought she did so bad and was off key, that as soon as she got off stage, she went to her mother and started crying. I have a pretty good ear and I don't hear any imperfections. She's just top notch. I can't wait until October when I go see her in concert in England! As always I love your reviews. You guys have a really nice relationship and it shows when you do these reviews. Keep up the good work.

I'm wondering if with her being ill, if she was not hearing properly. I did hear her say she had only 3 days to practice and that she did not sing it the way she practiced. She also said she did not think it was her best performance.

She didn’t want to sing this song bc her idol, Loren Allred, sang this version in the finals of BGT two years ago. Finally Loren sent her a video and asked her to sing it. Sydnie put her own kisses on it to make it her own version.

To continue your recent music video reactions Mike and Jess, maybe you would consider reacting to two mesmerising live-on-stage performances which don't seem to ever get blocked. These are "Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (Official Video Remastered)" with over 1.8 billion views or "Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight LIVE HD" with over 121 million views. In mid December the Royal Variety Performance in London in front of the King and Queen will be shown on TV. As the winner of BGT Sydney performs on the show. The actual show took place in Nov, but will probably not be available till it is aired on TV.

I have no idea what BGT did to the audio with all the flipping flapping popping (Did Sydnie break the audio?) but TalentKingHD released this and seemed to have mostly cleaned up the audio fubar. Still, Loren Allred released this version first. Sydnie idolizes Loren. Sydnie has been on few British talk shows since. She is just as special in a sit down talking venue. I want more and I want it NOW!👍🌹❤️ She is releasing a record in September and possibly singing for the King in November 👍👍👍👍

Yes, Sydnie wins you over with whatever she's doing: those tv interviews were after each of her BGT songs, as many of the BGT contestants got to do. Her single, Starlight Express, is already out on yt, and she's definitely gonna be on the stage at the Royal Variety end of this year, in between her autumn and Christmas time concerts.

Hello, just to tell you that Lara Fabian also participated in Eurovision the same year as Celine Dion, she represented Luxembourg. Thank you for your videos that I love especially Benny Hill who rocked my whole childhood on Sunday evenings in France just before going to bed because we had school on Mondays, what seems strange in the 80s in France is that our parents let us watch this type of show, today it would be impossible ah also for the water in restaurants in France it is free and it is tap water but maybe they are talking about Paris because yes there are so many tourists that it would not surprise me if it was paid

Sydnie is Fantastic as a Person, Vocals. The funny thing is, I watched her interview that She was somewhat disappointed in her version of this song. I think it was Great...
