I was on it during july of 2018 from Oslo to London. Great ship, great food great staff etc. Going again june 2020 from London to Stockholm.

You didn't mention my favorite place: the beautiful library where it is so comfortable and peaceful! I spent at sea days mostly in the library. The Explorer is a beautiful ship and we found ALL the food to be excellent, including the buffet! We love French cuisine, so no complaints there. It beats all the other "luxury" small ships we have sailed on. However, this year we will be sailing on the Atlas Navigator (just 196 guests) for the first time : we are looking forward to that!

Hi Rickee and Chris, Thank you for your great observation! At the beginning you mentioned that Explorer could be within 3-4 most luxurious cruises you have been on. Could you name to me the other three? You also mentioned that you would not do longer than 14 days cruise. Is there a specific reason for it? We intend to do a much longer one! You did not mention anything about the other guests, is there a lot of interaction with other guests? Thank you!!!

A quick question. I am going to embark on 14th of February at Regent Explorer, Miami. This is my first time to be working on a cruiseship. I do not have a Seaman’s Book but I have already applied for it and got a CT certificate from Panama Maritime Authority. Am I allowed to move out on a port day . Help and guideline in this would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, and very nice. The two times I tried to go into the spa/gym area, it was closed for repairs, so I was unable to get any photos/video. The spa is run by Canyon Ranch.
