The reason why the quasimorph that burst from the person killed is because it is technically wild. Only the ones on venus are passive if you are allied. For the wild to not attack you, you need max rep with Tezctlan.

Reggie... xiomara isnt sided with the demons. Feathered serpent is something that shouldve been done relatively early and CHOOSING TO SIDE WITH TZECTLAN FIRST, and XIOMARA LATER is one of the ONLY WAYS to make everyone hate you. Normally even with that youd manage with tzectlan but you backstab him with siding with xiomara whos... a human sided (for now) quasimorph that wants to stop him. For humans who... all hate you.

I saw this comment elsewhere on Quasimorph but I've adopted it. "This game scratches an itch I didn't know I had." In addition, the OST goes hard. Sometimes you really enjoy getting a high Q-morph level to hear that banging soundtrack. And it is not even finished yet, there is more in the pipe, lots more. Deep fun. My first save game slot/run is a sad sight. I didn't know what I was doing. I watched a few videos and came back to it and did a whole lot better. Pro tips, hang around Mars to get some easier missions initially. Keep the decent backpacks as backpacks dictate how much loot you can haul out of the game. Make bandages and splints whenever and wherever you can. Eating mystery meat does prevent you dying from satiation loss, but you best cook it first. A severed leg makes an excellent close combat weapon.

not really that similar. Game mostly consist of deploying into missions, getting gear and supplies, then getting out. Combat is more like xcom style with grids and line of sight. You can choose your operatives and one of two classes from the start. You can only deploy one person at a time and there is a main goal for every mission

You start out with only a few operatives and two classes but you unlock them through finding class and mind chips. Fabricating more items on your ship also needs to be unlocked through item chips

Yeah it's a good time. I'd say it starts off deceptively easy on Mars, but the other planets can have a pretty nasty difficulty spike so get your practice in before then
