Great work. Trying to do this myself (use corrugated plastic), but keep having leakage at the tube segment. Not sure what you do in the video, can you explain what the thingie is that you put on the tube?

Beautiful. Siamese Fighting Fish is also a nice touch. I'm hoping soon to build a Buddah Tank with all natural plants and rocks in it which will house a Siamese Fighting Fish in it too and a few Algae Eaters!

I see you got inspiration from Asu xD but your video is more in-depth in terms of showing the work process and being more descriptive about your equipment (I have been looking for days for the right plastic type to use until I found this video). Oh i wish I came across this video two weeks ago! Then I would have learnt about corrugated plastic sheets which I could have used in the DIY table top waterfountain instead of cement! Nevertheless, I love your channel - super informative about materials and techniques!

You should have used black or charcoal coloured silicone for the rocks. But that's an amazing build buddy.

It looks great, but with all the structure in place there doesn't seem to be much space left for the betta? When you add plants underwater he'll have even less space to swim.

I love this but I have a few dumb questions lmao. -why do you put metal screening in some of structures? Are there any benefits placing them where they are and what do they do? -And is there any base layout we absolutely need when we build the structures? I’ve seen people just litter the entire background with the structures but they always seperstrd the back part of the tank from everything else. I’m sure I’ll have more and edit as I watch the rest of the video lol

Am I right that you put the front and back panes of glass against the side of the base piece, and then put the side pieces on top of the base piece? looking to build a paludarium myself!

The waterfalls seem to be run by a filter and depending on temp of their room, no heater is required

Hi mate. What makes you decide wether to go rock or expanded fowm hard scape? Looks like the foam would be far easier and cheaper. Love your work

is that foam core? how has it held up? i contemplated using it for a background before but ended up scrapping that idea since people said it could waterlog and dissolve over time

The plants and moss act as a biological filter, so really no need to.

How do you let the sediment and dirt filter out after gluing together all of the rocks? I would imagine the water is quite gross after putting the crushed rocks on the silicone. Do you let it self filter for a while?

I ran the pump for a few days to test out. Most the sediment settled in a corner and i was able to easily remove with a gravel vacuum. Since then, i havent seen any sediment build up.

Silicone dries to touch in about a day and takes about a week to fully cure

Isn't that too small for a Beta? The setup looks gorgeous but shouldn't you put some shrimp instead or something else on it? The beauty of it is just for us, the fish doesn't care for the waterfalls.

No foreground plants for the betta to rest or hide in either. He will struggle with his long find and become stressed with nowhere to hide.

wont the chemical in the gum or silicone adhesive contaminate the water? isnt it harmful as it might degrade gradually as it is quite exposed in water
